Usually a very good place to shop but was disappointed when the cashiers refused to accept my Euro note as tender because they were not familiar with the imagery. The Euro, unlike single country currencies, is printed in different locations and therefore has different images depending on the country within the continent of Europe the note is from. Citing someone's subjective unfamiliarity with a note as a reason should not be happening in 2020 where there are multiple ways of detection. It is quite a shock to me that a "proper" shop like Bon Marche can devise unscrupulous ways to cheat their customers. They no longer display the exchange rates and rtgs prices. Today they just told me verbally that it was 6500, but they never used that rate, they used a much higher one, nearly 10000.
