In's Arena — Restaurant in Tirana Municipality

First of all I’d like to say that I am a normal paying customer who just wanted to eat an avocado toast and went off reviews seen on their instagram and on TikTok. Also, I never give nor rate 1 star reviews when the food is bad as I think everyone deserves a second chance.

What I’ve encountered here is a typical influencer vs normal customer situation.

The portions are really small and don’t look nothing like what you can see on pictures or on videos. I was actually appalled at what we received. We were three people ordering different meals and we all received small portions that are 50% smaller than what you can see advertised online.

I didn’t say anything at the time because we were in a rush and my husband didn’t want to cause a scene. So we agreed to not say anything and upon reflection I just thought writing a review was the best way to move forward.

Please, give normal portions to people and make the food look what it looks like online. If 1 one of us ordering food received something a bit off I wouldn’t have said anything. But we were 3.

Ps: I asked to take out the shrimps.

Update: absolutely no one is talking about the pricing here. I’m just sharing my honest experience and people will be able to see that my pictures do not match what other people receive. If I come to this place, it’s because I’ve seen the menu and am ready to pay the price. Financial means have nothing to do about this experience especially when we are used to pay around 40€ p.p in our country of origin, I’d gladly do the same here. The service and atmosphere were good. We went there on Sunday morning, for brunch. The caffe was nearly full but there were also some remaining tables available. Being kind we asked for having a seat as we saw a couple of girls waiting inside the entrance so we assumed there have must been a kinda waiting list not wishing to skip. In the meantime another couple was leaving and left an unoccupied table as well. When the waitress realised we are NOT Albanians not only she didn’t proposed us to get on the “list” but she refused us a table” pretending and lying that the place was “full”. Shame on you guys if you think you deserve tourists the way you behave people.

PS: As I got your response I would happily accept to wait and be getting in the “list” but you never proposed this option! You just denied a table saying it was full while other people waiting to sit and at least two tables were available. It’s better to improve your service and train your people to treat kind and professional to business foreigners that came in this beautiful country to leave their money than providing poor excuses. RESPONCE TO THE EMPLYEE---- I thought it was clear but let me specify some aspects.

For TIRANA prices, their prices are very high and the food is not worth it. No comparison vs Italy, nor Greece, Germany, and other countries where I have been and where the food is good compared again to other restaurants in their own place. To give you examples, if you want to eat good food for cheap or the same price, go to eat to ODA RESTAURANT (Not garden) or to ZGARA e TIRONES 2.

-----The place is nice and service is cool, but the food was below average. The appetizer of olives didn't have the cheese shown in pictures but parmigiano dust, which was terrible with those olives. The olives felt like out of a package and no oil. We also took the sea and earth. In it, the salmon was full of orange juice and it was hot instead of being cold, due to being serviced together with other cooked fish.
