One of the very best coffees in Buenos Aires, and overall one of the nicest cafes thanks to a fantastic service (and really yummy cakes and pastries to accompany your drinks). We've been more than one time and there are various people working there, depending on the day, but they are all super kind, upbeat and ready to "personalize" your made-to-order coffee drink, if you so wish. The ambience is unusual, with a bit of an industrial vibe, bikes and books adorning the walls and two floors where to sit and enjoy your coffee break. There is also a very nice bar with high chairs to sit in front of the barista, as if he or she were a barman. Unusual, but it works nicely and creates a familiar, informal ambience. The croissants and pain au chocolate both look and taste great. The cheesecake doesn't look that appetizing, but it's actually extremely creamy and full of flavors. If you favor something savory, scrambled eggs are made at the moment. You can also buy the excellent coffee they serve, in different varieties from the brand Puerto Blest, which are bagged in beans and they will grind it to your specifications (drip, V60, moka, espresso....) when you buy it, so it is freshly ground and at its best when you take it home. As of January 2024 there is a 10% discount if you pay cash, for everything you consume in the cafe as well as what you take home. Highly, highly recommended.

Went for morning coffee. The place was still opening but we ordered two latte to have sitting at the place. The decor is basic and is influenced by bycicles. There is a small bookshelf upstairs. They have WiFi that works. The barista weighs out the coffee and when we got it it was served in two similar cups but one was smaller than the other....a bit quirky but fine. The latte was smooth and a little bit weak but otherwise good. If you want the coffee to be served hot please request it. It is served like in Italy at about 70 deg which is good for latte coffee. There is a printed menu but the prices are on a barcode.

Gracias Evaristo...!!!!!

Nestled in Palermo, Evaristo Café is a delightful discovery. As you step inside, the kinda crazy ambiance embraces you. But it’s the coffee that steals the show.

🔸 Outstanding Coffee Selection: Evaristo offers an impressive range of brews. From rich espressos to velvety cappuccinos, each cup is crafted with care by skilled baristas.

🔸 Friendly Staff: The baristas aren’t just coffee experts; they’re also warm and eager to recommend blends or customize your drink.

🔸 Fresh Pastries: Pair your coffee with fresh pastries—they’re scrumptious! Love the croissants.

⚠️ Watch Out for Hours: Here’s the catch: Some visitors, including me, found Evaristo closed despite Google Maps’ hours. Consistent updates would prevent this hiccup.

In summary, Evaristo Café promises excellent coffee and a welcoming vibe. Just double-check those hours...
