Their empanadas taste great, are HUGE, and have a ton of filling. I buy the chicken and beef by the dozen and snack on them during the week since it’s hard to get enough protein in my diet in Buenos Aires. The meat pies (tortas) are also very good and can be very protein dense depending on which you choose. I try to avoid the ones with cheese because they just contain too much of it.

My only complaint is that they offer "boxed" meals during lunch but the ones containing meat (beef or chicken) are very low quality, containing a LOT of bones both big and small. They're miserable to eat and do not taste well either. Avoid.

Lastly, if you have a sweet tooth, you'll have a very difficult time leaving here...

Everything in this shop looks absolutely delicious! I wish I could try it all. They offer a wide variety of treats, including alfajores, chocolate bombones, cakes, pastries, and even savory options. The best part is that you can buy items individually, so you can mix and match whatever catches your eye. (This what I did) The prices are very reasonable.

The staff are incredibly polite and helpful. For travelers, I’d recommend paying in cash since there’s a small commission for international card payments.

La comida es excelente, hace 6 años compro ahí. Pero el sábado 19/9/20 me sorprendió como se ofendió una empleada cuando, por medio de una colega de ella le comunique que tenía la nariz fuera del barbijo. La misma ofendida me dijo que a ella le costaba respirar con barbijo, le dije que pida otro al lugar o que pida licencia y de forma ignorante sobre las formas de contagio covid19 me dijo que con la nariz fuera solo se puede contagiar ella, que no contagia al resto. Le expliqué que soy personal de salud y no es así, que lea los informes de la OMS. Y más ofendida me Retruca diciendo que no había clientes en el lugar. Le expliqué que había comida a su alrededor y que si ella era asintomática (que puede ser) está perjudicando a mi familia y toda persona que pase. Conclusión me fui y su ignorancia sobre contagios en pandemia continuó siendo la misma. Es una lastima que un lugar con tan buena cosas, una excelente atención y predisposición pasen estás cosas de ponernos en riesgo por la negligencia de una empleada que siempre me atendió cordial y respetuosamente.
