SushiClub Recova — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Trendy atmosphere with a chic crowd in upscale hotel district. I received a complimentary welcome glass of prosecco which was very nice, and the cocktail I ordered afterwards (capirhina) was excellent. The food was beautifully presented with style, but unfortunately the taste was only just ok. I've definitely had better sushi. Servers could get better training as well, as this is not casal dining. When my slate arrived, one of the sushi pieces fell off when she put down the plate on the table. She only said sorry and was about to leave when I had to explain that she would need to discard the one that fell and bring another. She expected me to just eat the fallen sushi like "5 second rule"! In her defense though, she did immediately replace the sushi after I explained, but in a fancy restaurant like this, the customer shouldn't have to be teaching...

Fui a comer el día 25/10/2023 con un amigo que no veía hace rato y que recién había llegado de brasil. Quería llevarlo a una experiencia de buen sushi con buenas vistas y un lugar exclusivo; es ahí cuando me decidí por ir a el SushiClub Recova. Es una lástima que por nuestro infortunio la atención que brindan a sus clientes es peor que mala. Es inexplicable la vergüenza que me han echo pasar en frente de mi amigo y el mal trato que eh recibido.

A penas llego me dan una mesa en el centro del local, la cual no era lo ideal ya que decidimos ir ahí especialmente por la vista que tiene al Four Seasons. Pedi amablemente que me cambien de mesa a una que estaba contra la ventana; (la cual me habían confirmado que estaba vacía y no estaba reservada) al escuchar mi pedido la recepcionista no solo que resoplo de disgusto (lo cual encuentro muy fuera de lugar) si no que de mala manera nos dijo que era imposible y que esa mesa era para 4 personas (mientras nos miraba con asco). Con la atención recibida, decidí disculparme e irme teniendo que pagar el estacionamiento de enfrente innecesariamente. Entiendo perfectamente que hay gente que solo hace su trabajo y que a veces hay cosas que se imposibilitan, pero si hay algo que siempre tiene que estar son los modos a la hora de decir las cosas (sobretodo cuando uno debe servir y complacer a sus clientes). Note una falta de control sobre los modos del personal del local donde los mismos se disgustan con las necesidades y deseos de sus clientes cuando no era para ser así.

Quede disgustado teniendo que buscar otro lugar para comer a las 11 de la noche.

Soy cliente habitué de SushiClub, siempre suelo pedir en la sede de “deli & take away” de la calle Charcas donde la comida suele ser muy buena y el atendimiento del personal también (por más que nos es la propuesta del local). Ahora no se si volveré a consumir en este lugar.

Espero puedan corregir estas deficiencias antes de que otro de lleve este mismo disgusto, que por cierto no se lo...

Pretentious and overpriced. So over 40 dollars for an order of gyoza (which were two pieces. TWO), 12 pieces of sushi and a juice. For a single person. What, does the sushi come with a lap dance? Took them one hour to bring out and the sushi wasn't ever better than what you'd get on a tray at the supermarket. I'm not leaving one star only because the place is indeed nicely decorated and chic, so if you have a corporate meeting or something the atmosphere fits. Oh, also the waiter harassing for the tip despite the awful service, like he assumed I was gonna forget or something, ruined whatever good was...
