This is a relatively quiet and unassuming Indonesian eatery located conveniently along North Terrace, near the busy Rundle Mall shopping area.
As with most patrons, I ordered a nasi campur and decided on the chicken (you get to choose which dish/topping that you prefer, the other option being beef rendang). I chose to sit upstairs which had a few tables and it was fairly quiet. Although I believe the food is pre-prepared, it took a while before it arrived at my table, not that it was cold. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the other accompanying dishes (sambal, fried cabbage, etc.) were alright. Probably the only thing which I thought could be improved was the yellow rice, which was thought was softer than it should be, though it was not exactly soggy. Portions are decent for the price.
As with the warongs in Indonesia, you get Indonesian pop songs blaring on the speakers as you dine, which gives an Indo vibe to the place.
Would I return to have a meal...

Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment. My partner ordered a "rice noodle" dish, but what was served was instant noodles with an egg on the side—completely misleading and absolutely not worth $14. I ordered a rice-based dish with extras, but the extras were entirely forgotten. On top of that, we waited over an hour for our food, which is unacceptable given the lackluster quality of what we received.
The service was subpar, the food did not match the descriptions on the menu, and the overall experience fell far short of the hype surrounding this place. For the price and the time we spent waiting, we expected much better. This was a truly disappointing visit, and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the poor service and underwhelming...
