New Indian diner in Brighton. Upon arrival, the staff was very professional, courteous and prompt in assisting with a table as we did not make any reservation (would highly recommend that you do as the popularity grows!). The ambience is nice and woody and is cosy. We ordered for a Tandoori platter, garlic nan and goat biryani. The one thing that just blew my senses was the awesome signature "chutney" served along with the platter. This one is to die for and not the stereotypical chutney that you would tend to just avoid in other Indian restaurants. The garlic nan was as you would expect. I wasn't very impressed with the biryani as the rice seemed overcooked and sticky. It appears that the strength of this place is in the Tandoor and curries. Considering the overall delightful experience and the signature chutney that was so awesome, I decided to give 4 stars. If you are looking for a good evening to dine in at Brighton for some great Indian dishes, I would highly recommended Bombay Vintage.

The food was pretty good here. We tried their Chicken Tikka and Mushroom Masala along with Garlic Naan. The service was ok. Would have been 5 star for food if they did not use food colour and made it less oily. The garlic naan was wafer thin, would have liked it to be a bit more chunky. Prices are on par with most Indian restaurants in the area except for some dishes like Kerala curry at $28.00 which is inexplicably overpriced. On our second visit we tried butter chicken, Paneer tikka masala and Gobi Manchurian.. The manchurian did not taste like the Indo Chinese food we were expecting. The paneer and chicken were good. Don't forget to ask for spice on a scale of 1 to 10 so you don't end up with sweet food!

We ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala and eggplant masala and asked for mild but was very dissappointed as they were very spicy and salty. Upon informing the waitress, she said they were mild eventhough all the dishes were full of whole chilli and chilli flakes. No accountability. They gave a bowl of raita to manage the heat. My husband asked for white wine and was given a room temperature wine. Very dissappointing. Not coming back again.

Absolutely horrible experience here, we ordered our food at 6:30 for takeaway and didn’t get it until 7:10. When we got home, we found out that a curry and some naan was missing, We called in advance to let them know and when we got there, they made us wait so they could make the dish, which when we opened it, it wasn’t what we ordered, and when we went back in to let them know, the lady at the desk blamed the chef, who she dragged out so she could take the blame. The chef made it clear to us that the lady had put it through wrong and apologised, and gave us the correct curry almost 2 hours after we had placed the order.

The original food was also barely warm when we received it initially, and the lady blamed us for it, saying it wasn’t her fault, blaming a busy night and that it was prepared fresh.

I came here with my partner around at the start of the year and it was delicious, fresh, came out fast and the customer service was exceptional, it’s a shame that the restaurant has fallen so far in so...

Worst experience.food tastes bad and not worth for its price.I bought a $100 with voucher in Groupon and They didn't mention anything about the drinks not included in the voucher or anywhere else, and the waiter lady kept insisting us that it was mentioned in the voucher.when I asked her to show me where it was written in the voucher then she changed her mind and said drinks has to be bought for extra price and when I asked why, her reply was "if you want you can put the review as whatever you want but we won't provide the drinks in the voucher", which was a ridiculous behaviour to customers.for a small family like us we cannot eat $100 worth in a go and if drinks are included that would have been good. Don't waste your time and money by going to this place. They don't deserve you...
