Pros: The ordering and waitering staff are great. Very friendly and happy to help. If there is one positive I had there, it is this. The kids doing the waitering were great and did thier best.
Cons: -The food is very expensive for what it is. About $25 for anything decent like a slice of lasagna or a bowl of spaghetti. A single piece of garlic bread is $2.50. Prices seem a bit high for how basic the food is and the ingredients given, which brings me to my next con...
-They are extremely stingy with ingredients; My pasta meal had two pieces of broccoli in it, the rest was pasta and sauce. My dad's Spaghetti Bolognese had half a handful of mince, the whole plate was basically pasta, we were extremely disappointed.
-The chairs they use are extremely uncomfortable, probably the worst I've seen in a restaurant. By design it pokes you right in your back. I looked over to the restaurant next door and they had nice normal brown padded chairs and I just wished we booked there instead.
-There is nothing but tile under the chairs and tables so anytime somebody moved (about every 10 seconds) there would be an ear piercing screech of a chair scraping on tile.
-The restaurant was absolutely chock full of kids screaming. They had nothing to keep them entertained like a gaming set up like at Charlie's.
-The parking is atrocious. Hardly any spaces with people fighting for them and people from the sports oval stealing parks when they couldn't get anything over there. No room to move. The front parking square is just a ridiculous space...
Read moreGreat place to go for tea- nice atmosphere, we had Pollo Delicioso and Pasta Calabrese ( apologies for spelling, dont speak much Italian) Absolutely amazing food, and the best salad dressing I have ever had since before Sapore restaurant at Glynde closed. For everyone who misses their Mista salad, try salad here- delicious.Pasta Calabrese is like bolognese with pepperoni ( hot!!) and olives added, my hubs fave, the Pollo Delicioso ( delicious chicken to y'all) is a chicken breast, large short cut bacon grilled covered with a white kind of sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, mashed potato, small manageable pieces of broccoli and other things ( check their website out) and the delicious delicious side salad. So cheap. We were out looking as we were staying at the Stamford and the food was stupidly expensive, and this food was every bit as tasty, but less than half the price... enjoy ppl this is one of the best Fasta Pasta's we have visited. And if you go for lunch and love to op shop next door Vinnies, nearby save the children, rspca and Salvos Stores Enjoy xx thanks for the...
Read moreOrdinarily I’m very pleased with this Fasta Pasta, but tonight I was left feeling just a little bit disappointed. Staff were lovely as always, but the food wasn’t up to it’s usual standard. Pasta was inconsistently cooked and sauced. The prawns were overcooked and there were only 5x in the nearly $27 Linguni Turismo (which only has prawns & bacon as the meats) … the linguini prawn lunch special they do for $10.90 sometimes has six prawns in it, so it feels as though I was short changed tonight. I’m really glad that I slipped out unnoticed while the staff were momentarily busy, because I was tempted to complain. The table next to me - although extremely annoying to sit beside - also complained of lacklustre meals, with all of them supposedly left feeling hungry.
I don’t understand why the food was so bad tonight, the waitress said it was a quiet night. Would’ve preferred my meal to take a few mins longer if the quality would be better, but I guess in that case the prawns would’ve been even more...
