Had an exceptional time at Alimentary Eatery in Brighton today. The Wagyu Cheese Burger was an absolute delight, and the coffee was spot-on. Although I didn't try the Cubanos Panini, I heard it's fantastic! Situated on Jetty Road, it's a vibrant spot with bustling street traffic. On busy days, street parking can be a bit challenging. For enhancement: Service: While the outside counter ordering might catch you off guard, once you know, it's a breeze. Cutlery placement could use some attention, and offering table water would be a nice touch. A slight improvement in staff attitude would make the experience even more enjoyable.

This place calls itself accessible however there’s two steps to get in and NO signage to let people know there’s an accessible entry around the side. You go around the side and it’s a locked gate. How do you ask them to open it if you can’t actually get inside. If you actually give a care about people with disabilities, leave your gate open or please take down that your venue is accessible. On top of the access issue, this is a fire exit. If there was an emergency inside people would need to use this gate to exit which is not possible without a key. Appalling.

Cool artsy vibe! Friendly service 🙂 Soy Mocha and Chocolate Croissant. Iced Soy Mocha was strong yet held fruity flavours and had a caramel ending note. Was a very layered mocha, mixed with the dark chocolate and icecream, was bold and creamy. Was elegantly presented. 4.6/5 ⭐ Chocolate croissant was served creatively. The chocolate spread was unique and had quality cacao. The coconut flakes added a nice balance. Crispy pastry made for a beautiful croissant. *Hint: Artistically serve the chocolate spread better, as it looked like a poop stain. 🤣 4.3/5 ⭐

We held a function in the open air (but covered) area at the back for 55 people. The grazing board was incredible. And the platters of finger food were fabulous. Plenty of food, fantastic quality, good value for money & beautifully presented. There were plenty of options to choose from prior to the night & an excellent range of vegetarian & gluten free options. David, the chef & events manager, offered great advice & was very responsive to emails. Bar staff were super friendly & helpful. Highly recommend for a function.

Big servings of delicious food, the meals did take a little while to come up but it was busy, (I did watch them sit under the heat lamps for over 5mins, but they were still hot when they got to our table) We waited about 10 mins for a table but once we were in the service was great, drinks came quickly and staff were helpful. The big brekkie was big and the vegan wrap was filling and delicious. And I recommend the cherry ripe smoothie, very moorish
