Chicken House is a Goody Road landmark which has survived the test of time. And that's because it serves up quality, free range, plump hot chickens, fish, snack packs, burgers and delicious golden chips. It's open for lunch and dinner and many a happy school kid can be seen trailing home with a bag of chips and a big smile on their face 😁😁 The staff are friendly and know their customers expect decent sized portions. The tempting salads are simple but freshly made with the Greek salad a stand out. Support your local and you will be pleased with the value for money Chicken...

the chicken i had itself was nice, great tasting skin, fresh, with good stuffing. but the chips weren't salted, and i asked for well done and they were far from. the chicken though was oily, and the paper bag stuck all too the skin and i had to try and rip oil soaked paper off of a chicken, wasn't fun at all. and the prices are beyond appropriate... $20 for a whole chicken is a bit rich, and $7 for the smallest bag of chips is also a rip off. it's a shame, cause the food I've had does taste really nice, it's not...

The new owners need to improve their service and listening. I had been going here for years with the old Greek owners.

For the second time in 3 visits they have got my order wrong, didn't realise until got home. I tasted a chip while waiting for my order to be completed and they were only warm. They reluctantly re-fried my chips. The chips should be so hot you can hardly eat them whilst driving home.

I'd have to wonder if I should change...
