Visiting family from out of town and found this great little cafe. It’s situated beside a grassy area, the library and civic centre. It has outdoor seating and has around four indoor tables.
This place is all about friendly customer service. I told the owner I was looking for a slice but not just with peanuts, which was in the dessert case, but one with peanut butter. He said “I have one in the back for you”. Both he and his young son were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces.
They have a pay it forward container on their counter so if someone wants to donate they can, and someone who is hungry can stop in for a free sandwich or snack. There is some free clothing and other items for free as well.

Inside the shop was small yet a cool vibe! Friendly staff! Waiting time wasn't bad. Not long after I left, I ate it in the car before going home and enjoyed it! 😋 keep in mind their Acai cups are not like the swirly "unbeatable texture" ones you've probably seen on Tiktok.
