Very rarely do I bother with negative reviews. It is usually a mind blowing positive experience that compels me to leave a review. Not this time. We ordered a loaded patatas bravas with guacamole and chorizo - generally the potato for the dish uses chunky pieces of potato, not costco chips and the chorizo is generally pan fried sausage meat, however they used the sausage slices you typically only see on a domino's pizza, finally it did not come with guacamole and until complaining multiple times were they willing to remove the guacamole charge. I felt a bit sick after a few of those chips. We ordered fish and prawn tacos. The menu clearly says you get 2x with your order. Instead we received a single fish and prawn taco that was served on the same plate, was identical and only told when we asked when our other plate of tacos was arriving that the plate we had on our table was it. One bite of whether it was the fish or the prawn taco and I could tell it was not only expired seafood but similar in quality to the frozen fish fingers you get from woolies. I can tolerate some pretty questionable food, but that night I threw up twice, had diarrhoea and slept with stabbing...

My partner and I had travelled from Victoria to Adelaide for the AFL’s Gather Round, and were excited to experience the cuisine Adelaide has to offer.

This restaurant advertised authentic Mexican food, yet what we recieved couldn’t have been further from this.

We ordered two pan fried veggie burritos, listed on the menu as “rice, beans, cheese, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, lettuce, house aioli and salsa, plus a serve of “Mexican” fries. Not only was the food cold, the burritos were filled with what we assume was cubed potato, puree pumpkin, tofu, carrots, peas and yellow rice. Nothing like the original description on the menu.

We contacted the restaurant, and were told they would ring us back. An hour and multiple unanswered phone calls from us later, and our call was eventually returned with the promise of a full refund, and they would contact us if they required further information to process said refund.

That was the 3rd of April, I have not heard from the restaurant since, nor recieved a...

THAT IS NOT Mexican food. I’m sorry but I have to be honest.

If you want to experience something that is AUTHENTIC Mexican from Mexicans… there are better places like La Popular, Que onda güey, and El Cabo Taco.

Give you the chance to try real Mexican food 👍

I ordered enchiladas, quesadillas and fajita, and they weren’t what I expected.

Salsas, not real salsa, it’s just blended tomato purée. It tasted more like Indian food ( which is good but not for a Mexican restaurant) I lived in Mexico for 10 years and there is nothing similar. The Jalapeño poppers, I’m sorry to tell you guys, but some of their food is just frozen food from Coles. There’s nothing Mexican there, they just picked the Mexican food because of marketing purposes, but the owners are from India and have never experience Mexican food. They don’t even care about Mexican culture

PS. They make their staff to obtain good reviews from customers and they make their employees write good reviews for...

I got take away for the first time and I have to say, I’m a little disappointed food and price wise. I got two jalapeño poppers for $8 and they were half the size of my finger, and for reference I’m a 5ft women so my fingers are quite small. Iv had better in seedy bars, and this is meant to be restaurant quality? I got two birria tacos, of course it was at least $15 because that’s the standard for soft shell taco with shredded beef (nothing else inside) with some dipping sauce. The flavour of the sauce was great, which is why you get 3 stars but I’m shocked. I’m a lover of birria tacos, and have had them all across the country but will not, bother wasting $15 whole dollars on some soggy tortilla. Also your Mexican corn was literally raw besides being char grilled, you know it still needs to be cooked right? Anyway I spent $40 and not only am I still hungry but I’m disappointed. Wanted to love it because your my local, very much didn’t. Thanks

It’s rare that I’ll give low stars to a restaurant I feel this is required so that it helps you improve! Firstly the location was nice and the setting was nice. I was intrigued by the 4.7 stars and the restaurant was full early for a Friday, so normally they are good signs. We were asked if we wanted water to start, normally it’s free… $4 for still or $7 for sparkling which came to our attention later because we hadn’t read the menu yet! Believe those prices aren’t worth it. Food - The tacos really had the smallest amount of filling, practically felt like the top two quarters were just the bread. We also had Nachos, in which would had been the smallest serving I’ve had out of any proper Mexican restaurant. The chorizo sausage reminded me of the meat you would put on a dominos pizza indicating poor quality of choice, in which when I read your reviews after someone commented the same 4 months ago.

Came here on a Saturday evening as a walk in, not too busy, great vibes. Restaurant does have a takeaway option. I ordered the Mexicano passion agua frescas mocktail, Birria tacos (chicken protein), Mexican style corn and Tres Leches Cake. The staff showed great hospitality and were attentive. The mocktail was nice, I couldn’t taste the mint which would have complimented the drink really well 🍹 I only wanted something small, the waitress recommended the tacos with chicken 🌮🌮 They are fried, however they weren’t oily which is great. The tacos were crispy yet fluffy with a light seasoning 🤌🏾 I really enjoyed this. Corn is chargrilled 🌽 it was nice, sweet and juicy. The dessert was to die for, one of the best sponge cakes I’ve tasted 👏🏾🍰 sorry I forgot to take a pic of it as I ordered it as a takeaway.
