The worst 3 minute haircut of my life. I was looking for a haircut as I had an important event coming up. Walked into the store and immediately was told to sit down despite me not saying a word. Before sitting down, I asked the hairdresser the prices and asked if we could discuss what cut I wanted. She seemed dismissive of what I had said and kept motioning for me to sit down. I was hoping for things to get better, but she proceeded to grab the shaver and hack at my hair. I quickly intervened and tried to tell her how I wanted my hair cut but she just kept saying 'yes yes okay' and continued to shave. This should've been a red flag but for some reason, I kept seated and waited for her to finish. It didn't take long, exactly 3 minutes from when I say down. She hustled me out of the chair, quickly brushed off the excess and told me to pay. Not even a word asking me whether it was ok. I tried to ask her to fix some bits as she had basically shaved off everything I asked her to keep but again, she dismissed me and motioned to the other customers sat waiting. Read moreI took my 10 Year old daughter there in September to have her hair cut. She had long thick hair and she got sick of brushing it. She found photos of 2 styles she liked and wanted a combination of the 2. I didn't want to spend an outrageous amount on getting her haircut and found Koco online. Looked good with good reviews. Went in, showed them the photos and they went to work. My daughter wanted very short ( almost shaved ) on one side and still some length on the other. She was ( as was I ) totally happy with the result. While there, I got my hair cut as well. I couldn't believe that at a city salon, great service, 2 haircuts, only came to $40. Yesterday we went back as my daughter wanted to go even shorter. Showed the stylist a photo of what she wanted. Again, VERY happy with the result . Definitely will keep going back because of their friendliness, expertise and the cost. PS: Just posted this and realised my daughters played with my phone and changed settings. She's the Schleich lover ( a toy brand name ), not me 😀....
