I am writing to share a concerning experience I recently had at the Marion outlet. As a frequent visitor and a fan of your food, I have always appreciated the quality of your offerings. However, my last visit was disappointing and did not meet the professional standards I expect from your establishment.
On this occasion, my family and I arrived around 9:15 PM and requested a quiet corner seat, as I needed to breastfeed my baby. The staff member approached us and informed us that the area had already been cleaned and was unavailable for seating. The restaurant was quite full, with many sections blocked off, leaving limited space in the center.
I explained our situation and requested a seat in the corner to comfortably feed my baby. In response, the staff member suggested that I feed the baby on the high chair, which is not suitable for breastfeeding. When I clarified that I needed to breastfeed, the staff member appeared dismissive and stated that we could sit in the middle if we preferred. Frustrated by the attitude and lack of understanding, I decided to leave the restaurant with my family.
It was disappointing that, at this hour, a significant portion of the restaurant was closed or blocked off, preventing us from finding a suitable place to feed our child, which is a basic human need. The section we requested to sit in had already been cleaned, and we were simply asking for a small, quiet space.
I believe that hospitality staff should exemplify professionalism and compassion. In this case, I feel the attitude of the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, which could negatively impact your reputation and customer loyalty. It's important that all team members prioritize customer well-being and create a welcoming environment, regardless of the time of day.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I hope measures can be taken to improve the customer experience in...
Read moreA reasonably nice place to dine but nothing special. I was recently there and I was asking some details about the options for the burger, the girl behind the counter was literally rolling her eyes after it appeared I was asking too many questions to her linking, perhaps she could find alternative employment. As far as the burgers, they are ok, though a little on the small side, they are seemingly following American sized burgers, however these stores are in Australia catering for Australians, go figure. Despite the small size of their burgers the flavours are reasonably nice, though avoid the herbed Mayo, it has an overpowering, not so nice flavour which tends to spoil the overall taste of the burger. They still don't provide an option of ice with thier drinks which is a little on the stingy side of things, though who cares what the customers want? The thing that amused me the most, (other than the giant cockroach walking along the floor) was their so-called "game-changer" burgers, I was thinking great thay have introduced some really game-changing burgers, can't wait to try them, but no, it seems to be just more of this burger joint's attempt of virtue signalling, by pushing their "save the planet" theme, apparently the cows are eating more greener, seaweed diet for these burgers. The bottom line, customers that go to a burger restaurant want one thing more than anything and that's damn good burgers and good service and this place failed on those two accounts. Sure this place has better burgers than the two major chains though I think you'll find any cafe or any pub will serve you a better value and more tasty and satisfying burger without all the saving the planet hype, and perhaps without the...
Read moreVery nice fit out, lighting and general vibe. Table online ordering system not working and was not advised of this.. worked my way through the order only to get to the checkout screen telling me this restaurant is not available now.
Ordered Chicken Pom salad. Literally just cos lettuce, dressing and the tiniest bit of crumbled goat cheese. No onion, beetroot, pomegranate, mint, or nuts. And too much nasty wilted lettuce (a very small amount is acceptable but there was too much).
Asked for the Superpower salad instead. Chicken had absolutely zero seasoning. Literally plain chicken thrown on a grill. No salt even. The paltriest amount of bland dressing, couldn’t taste basil at all.. basically a plain AF depressing salad. Not even a whole slice of red onion. Only the three outermost rings of one slice. Wow.. pass..
The chips however were excellent…
I will try a burger next time but will absolutely...
