I honestly don’t even have the words to fully express how much Alyshia impacted my day but I’m going to try, because she truly deserves every bit of recognition. Walking into KFC, I was having one of those days. You know the kind long, stressful, feeling invisible to the world. But then I was greeted by Alyshia, and in a matter of moments, everything shifted. Her smile so warm, so genuine was the first thing that made me feel human again that day. And it wasn’t just the smile. It was the way she spoke, the kindness in her voice, the way she looked me in the eye like I mattered. She wasn’t just taking an order she was connecting. Very friendly and helpful staff in this KFC.

I placed my online order for a one-off special deal to City X KFC last Saturday afternoon. I didn't complete my order as I hadn't arrived yet. I reckoned I might need to press 2 to 3 more steps to complete my order.

I changed my mind before arrival, and I decided to change my order to another KFC at Pulteney Street. When I opened the KFC App again, I tried to change my order, but it failed. The original order disappeared. There was no purchase record in my KFC App, but my deal disappeared.

Today, I found KFC charged to my bank account for the "unsuccessful" purchase last Saturday. I went to City X KFC today and see if they can help me to check what happened to my order.

The store chief was very helpful. He listened to my story and quickly asked for my mobile phone number for him to verify my order last Saturday.

He just used 3 seconds to confirm my order placed last Saturday has been paid. He quickly offered to re-provide my ordered food to me.

Very efficient, well-trained and super friendly staff.

Kopi & Kitchen, a new food experience in City Cross Adelaide

A kopitiam or kopi tiam is a traditional coffee shop found in Southeast Asia, patronised for meals and beverages. The word kopi is a Malay/Hokkien term for coffee and tiam is the Hokkien/Hakka term for shop (店). Menus typically feature simple offerings: a variety of foods based on egg, toast, and kaya, plus coffee, tea, and Milo, a malted chocolate drink which is extremely popular in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia and Singapore and in some parts of Indonesia, especially at Sumatra Island. Kopi tiams in Singapore are commonly found in almost all residential areas as well as some industrial and business districts in the country, numbering about 2,000 in total. When visiting we found the cafe design, modern, bright, with an excellent range of seating, good lighting, open plan modern kitchen, with a good range of food choices.
