The customer service is a bit upsetting at times, I come here purely because its the best laksa I've had. Every time I've dinned in I've had some kind of rude comment or just poor service. Once my partner and I came in for laksa and we also wanted to order 2 entrees. When I went to order the person serving me commented "that's a lot of food, are you sure you can eat that" There's no need to make comments on what people chose or chose not to eat I don't care how you meant it. You don't need to comment on their choices of food at all just provide good customer service.

Also, when we wanted to pay there were not many people in the restaurant and the person serving was acting like it was a full restaurant running around partially ignoring us. My partner had forgotten his card and didn't want me to pay so he wanted to enter in his card details. The person serving got angry grabbed the eftpos machine and pushed it into his chest and said take it back to your seat I have people to serve... There was one person behind us so i ended up just paywaving on my own card and we wanted to take home out left overs but didnt bother since we felt like such an inconvenience.

on a separate occasion we wanted to take home our left over dumplings but because there is so much miscommunication in that place while we paid for our food someone threw out all our food.

I'll never dine in again, I will only get take away because I thoroughly enjoy the laksa and am yet to find a better one elsewhere. The menu is also...

If you are having a long day and want to have a nice meal to wind down your day, this place is not recommended.

Our family ate at the restaurant today. I have a toddler so I asked the attendant for spice recommendations on laksa and other food. He was super abrupt and had a very firm tone (which is very uncommon for servers!), however we put our order down and waited for food. No water was asked or offered for the whole duration we were there.

When another family came, they were asked many questions by the same attendant (skin or no skin, etc), while he hadn't even bothered to ask us anything!

We also ordered hokkien mee hoon. The chicken seemed to be half cooked. Maybe it wasn't thawed properly or was out for long. Just didn't taste alright.

We left very early. On paying the bill, I offered recommendations on consistency of service and tone, etc but the attendant was least bothered and said for me to put a review here and somewhere else I...

In a nutshell: Laksa was average, customer service disgusting (except for the male waiter who was polite). Walked in and was not greeted at all by a woman who seemed to be the owner or front of house manager. Ordered my partner and myself rudely to sit at a specific table and told us not to go into the dining area at the back. I had to go up to the front counter to order as no one came to take our order. The woman who seemed to be the owner only treated non-Asians nicely which I found confusing as I had not done anything to offend her despite being the fact that my partner and I were Asian. Got up to pay at the end of our meal and she once again said to me rudely "copy?", Probably to ask if I wanted a copy of my receipt. Will not be returning at all. Thank you to the male waiter who was...

One of the better Laksa's in town. I had the Combination Chicken and Seafood laksa with added serve of dumplings, we also asked for extra bok choy and rice flat noodles and decided to take away. I added coriander to mine at home. It's big enough to share if you're not that hungry. The place is very basic inside and at times messy. It does need a good clean out and not leave the empty boxes laying around the place. Front windows need a good clean too. Friendliness of staff is hit and miss. The laksa dishes are good but I prefer take away. It's a winter thing for me. Heaps of available parking on Hutt Street.

Delicious, affordable, friendly, and fast. I head here for a quick work lunch when my parents visit; I've been three times with consistently good food/service each time. Their laksa is very quick to come out (nice level of spice - watch out for beginners), and their other menu items (S&P prawns, home-made iced tea) have been great so far. It's a huge bowl, so if you're sharing between two people, just ask for extra bowls, they're happy to oblige. I'll definitely be working my way through the menu!

Easy, quick, efficient and budget friendly. I like to go there on cold days when I m starving and order a chicken dumpling Laksa. It' s good and I like I don't have to wait too long for my food. Portions are generous so I always end up asking for a takeaway box (so it s my lunch or dinner for the next day). I like their homemade hot milk tea as well.
