Monicas Pizza — Restaurant in Adelaide

So the food took close to 2 hours to get here and tasted stale and was cold. ( besides the wings. ) The food was extremely average for 50 dollers worth. The Pizza was cooked on top but the vegetables and meat were basically raw under the cheese , the meat especially the ham is really low quality and really average. The dough tasted old and stale and really chewy not fresh at all other members of the family said it tasted stale and not fresh also and they said it smelt "off" ! It really tasted like it had been sat there for a couple of hours or more , the chips were not Crispy were stale and just had a bad texture to them. The wings were OK but over cooked and a bit dry.

For the price we paid I expect alot better service and food. For 50 dollers we could of got alot of different food choices but chose you tonight and we got really bad food, I'll probably throw out the pizza or give the meat toppings to my dog, but I'm not feeling that good after it 🤢 🤮an everyone struggled to finish what they had lots of left overs and plates with food still on it after.

Also I called and was told the delivery driver just left but still took 20-30 minutes to arrive even tho we're close to the shop. Less than 10 minutes if driving.

Really disappointing recently. We were regular customers but their pizza has gone downhill a bit. It tastes a little funky and they gave us the wrong pasta. We asked for a refund and they refused but said they could give us a replacement... not too keen on a replacement if its been tasting weird the past few times. The older gentleman that works there was always lovely but the other staff usually stuff up regularly. Quite annoying. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from there anymore. Also if you use delivery you can expect it to get lost on the way. They take a very long time to deliver and we once had some one drop our food onto the road and not tell us. BEST SCHNITZELS CHIPS AND GRAVY!!! Everything about the schnitzel packs are perfect, not over priced, the crumb on the chicken and seasoning on the chips are the best i have honestly ever tried! Even the restaurant schnitzels are amazing and you get a salad with those too, the dressing on them is great. The chicken schnitzels are real chicken, not minced and fake. Their pizzas are incredible too, always packed with toppings! Would recommend both this takeaway Monicas and the restaurant right next door if youre feeling a bit more fancy!
