We got a bowl of pho each, mini pancakes with minced pork, satay chicken skewers and a bowl of chicken and corn soup. The sauce on the skewers were so rich and the chicken was amazing too. The pho was just the right combination of flavours and the meat in it was pretty tender. The soup was thick, which surprised me, but it’s a great combo of sweet and salty, and also little bit spicy too. The pancakes paired perfectly with the chilli sauce they came with. I do admit though, without the sauce it’s not complete. I also got a longan drink, which proved to be a bit sweet, but after putting some water in it was delicious. The staff were very friendly, greeting me right from the door. They accommodated for my allergies, which you would be surprised how many places don’t do. The atmosphere was very laid back. Noise levels were pretty good as well. You could see the kitchen, which was very clean. Will come again.

Clean and spacious place. We had lunch for 6 people and there were various sizes of tables available which are great for larger groups of people. We were served very fast, and the food was fresh and delicious. Green tea served in a pot, though I would suggest owners to make the tea list longer considering the restaurant's name 😉 One star I took off because of pricing. My seafood salad bowl with noodles and vegetables wasn't so large, but it cost around $27, which could be fine for the second dish. Though the quality of food was good. Atmosphere? Welcoming for a meal and chat with your friends or family over the lunch, but for dinner for 2 I would perhaps look for more intimité place ☺️

One of my favourite restaurants in Adelaide. Unassuming location where you wouldn't expect a good feed, but do they deliver authentic Vietnamese! With the mum cooking out the back, this place is super friendly and accommodating. Service is great, and the food came out quick, hot and very tasty! The grilled betel leafs with beef were moist, savory and a great appetizer! The authentic mini rice pancakes with pork and prawn took me back to the street markets in Asia. Crispy base, moist pancake and enough filling for a great snack. Mains are generous portion sizes, and with prawns sourced locally (Port Lincoln) you can't go wrong. Will be coming back again soon!

Have no idea why my friend and I haven’t been here before ….I would give this place more than five stars - the flavours of the food made my mouth water . Even though it was a busy Friday night, the friendly staff fit us in ( it helps if there’s only two of you ) . We asked to be seated down the back where it’s quieter - Glenelg on a Friday evening can get quite rowdy ! But the sounds that we mainly heard was the enticing sizzle of the pans in the kitchen . Staff were friendly and welcoming- water appeared on the table straight away . The place was lively and there were many others enjoying their meal . So many gluten free options- I truely got excited . I think we ordered too much but every bite was relished . Bahn Khot was an amazing little dish - traditional mini rice pancakes with shrimp and minced pork with a slightly spicy fish dipping sauce- this is one dish I recommend because it’s quite different- the flavourings in this were so delicate but the taste was both delicate and full of punch . The little rice pancakes were a little crunchy in the outside , but soft and fluffy . Xiao Hat Dieu was my friend’s favourite - she loved the taste of the stir fry and the still crunchiness of the vegetables together with the cashew nuts . I absolutely loved the peanut satay sauce that came with the chicken skewers - this should be bottled and sold separately. We ended off the meal with the Nem Nuong ( the roll your own cold rolls ) with the grilled pork belly balls - I actually put the peanut satay sauce on this as well as the sauce that came with it . All the dishes were packed with taste , and the dishes came out at a timely manner , especially considering how busy they were . So delicious- recommend this...

Food was okay & the female waitress was lovely and welcoming. Manager/owner however was unfriendly & obnoxious, not to mentioned he & the kitchen crew did not wear a mask throughout the whole duration we were there. Ordered at 2:30pm, half an hour before close & seemed like plenty of time to eat. Made my order at the counter & the owner was shouting the prices at the waitress as she was trying to get clarification for some of the orders. - She looked stressed and extremely nervous taking down the order because of it, and it made me feel uncomfortable. Upon finishing our meal, my partner went inside to ask for a take-away container. All the lights were off & the employees were sitting inside a lit room and just stared at her, not even offering to ask if she needed anything. I understand it was closing time, but as business based in the heart of Glenelg, you really should be prioritising your customers more & putting them first. Maybe come out before 3:00pm & let us now you're closing up, or offer some take-away containers.

Definitely would not go back & the young female employee working there needs to find a job where she is better respected and spoken to by her boss.

It seems I'm not the only person who's made a comment about...

Food was good , price on menu is reasonable, busy place , good location. Only thing which is I’m doubting about my bill overall. I’m not sure if it was double charge on something or not. I got 1 steam rice ( medium)$5, 1 quail $8.9 , 1 caramel stew fish $21.9 , 1 Vietnamese ice milk coffee ??$ , and 2 cokes ??$. Total bill was $53.8. That’s amount is alright but I couldn’t check the bill before paying because he did it on his cheque and only told me how much at the end without double check with customer ??!!!! I don’t mind if the price is high when you are willing to walk in to nice restaurant, but I refer to have a transparent bill. And, when food was served they didn’t serve the sharing plates or bowl and chopsticks until I asked ( in Vietnamese) but I don’t see the friendly response. My question which is because I’m not local ??!!!

Thanks for clarification, again I didn’t order prawn cracker, and it was not served at my table which is table 3 on 26/12 at around 6.30-7.30pm. And I don’t need to argue here, even you told me the coffee is $10 I’m happy with that instead of adding extra order on . My point here which is for you to check, and to let you know and keep up with the health...
