Public Schools Club — Restaurant in Adelaide

Friends invited us along on a voucher. When we arrived our host was told he could not use 2 vouchers as they were in the same name. (If he had known he would have bought the voucher for four people or bought one in his wifes name.) They would allow both vouchers if the tables were not together. This was embarrassing for them and us. We then politely offered to pay for ourselves. This was all discussed at our table in front of other dining guests. Our host then did some negotiating out of the dining area. The outcome I do not know but found this situation awkward to say the least. We had offered to bring some wine and was quoted $10 corkage over the phone I thought this very reasonable. On arrival was told it was $15 corkage..well okay. The meal was very nice. From the share platters to the poached chicken and finally I had the Bragg's mess sensational. To wait service was very good and the ambiance lovely. PS. The coffee machine had been turned off too early and coffee was no longer available. ~9.30pm I would go back so let us assume this...
