Subway — Restaurant in Adelaide

I've been working for SUBWAY for 10+ years and considered myself pretty well all over the formulas for subs...

Today, I had the pleasure of being told by a young man that my formula for ham on a footlong was incorrect. He put 4 slices in and it is supposed to be 6! (it's been changed from 8) So, I've been charged full price and not been given what I paid for. He went on to say that if I wanted to pay for double meat then I could have more...I just let it go because the store was getting busy.

The girl who made my subs didn't make even close to a good sandwich... The tomatoes go along the sub not on top of each other 😕 I don't fancy remaking my own sub when I've paid you to do it.

To top it off, no badges, no visors or caps, no bandanas and no aprons on any of the staff. It's not professional and just because your manager may be slack on it doesn't mean you don't know that you need to wear those items as they are part of your uniform.

I'll never go back there, I'll try my luck at getting the right formula on the sub I'm paying full price for at the store in Evanston if I'm ever back that way!!!

It's a shame because I know the owner of this particular store and she is lovely... maybe a quick check up on staff and a recap of formulas...

Subway in Murray Street used to be our go to Subway. Staff were always super happy and made great subs. Today I went there as a part of my birthday and have never been so disappointed. The employee was so ridiculously stingy it ruined my experience. She ran out of teriyaki and instead of getting more she just spread it out. Then she wiped half of the avocado off the sub and put it back in the container. Then used a tablespoon worth of carrot for a footlong. Subway sells the most fresh and amazing tasting subs. This is my favourite place to take lunch and the kids love it. A healthy option and a way more delicious option anyway. There’s nothing wrong with the subs and the customer service is usually amazing. You would be stupid not to go to subway. And did I mention the big selection of breads, meats, cheeses, sauces and salads they have? They also have delicious cookies. Any sub we can think of they have! 10/5 100%...
