Appalling managment for customer safety. After witnessing a elderly male patron, Saturday 24th Feb 2024 8.50pm, seated at in the outdoor tables, throw a wine glass at a man outside the restaurant for smoking too close. Resulting in the glass smashing on a parked car. The table from the man whome threw the glass also all enderly laughed and supporting this disgraceful behaviour. The same violent man in the restaurant continued to confront the man outside the restaurant dividers and assaulted him by throwing him into the same parked car causing more damage to someone's property.

Not once was this man and table asked to leave the restaurant.

Public nuisance, unprovoked assault causing damage to private property of vehicle, damage to restaurant property resulting in damage to private property.

Staff did nothing at all even when requested by other patrons to tell the manager and if they had cct footage for the poor man who wat injured.still no action was taken.

Instead the staff continued to serve the aggressive man and guests more alcohol and food. The manager did nothing and the police should have been called.

The man who was pushed should have been checked for concussion. Disgusting and we will not return to such restaurant that condones this behaviour!

Liquor licensing will also...

We dined at Eastwoods last week and were excited based on the food reviews we had heard. While we did enjoy the food—particularly the san choy bao and soft shell crab, which were excellent—the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a pervasive sewage/grease trap smell that filled the bistro throughout our entire meal. All passers by instantly reacted to the severity of the smell and it was acknowledged by several staff members; we regret not choosing to dine elsewhere at this point. We were looking forward to the reservation but it made what could have been an enjoyable evening quite unpleasant.

Additionally, we were surprised to find we were almost charged for water, which seemed odd given the circumstances. We hoped that something, like comping our inexpensive glass of wine each, might have been offered as a gesture of goodwill considering the smell we had to endure. However, when we politely raised this with the manager, they refused, which added to our disappointment.

We understand that things can go wrong in any restaurant, but a bit of acknowledgment or customer care could have salvaged the evening. Hopefully, this is an external isolated incident and that improvements can be made because the food itself was fantastic; which was expected given the money we...

A foodie’s delight! Miles ahead of any other restaurant in Airlie Beach. This place is without a doubt miles ahead of any other restaurant we ate at in Airlie Beach. No beer battered fries or chicken Parmis here! This is a place for those who appreciate real food cooked with passion, great quality ingredients and flavours to pack a punch! Not forgetting the amazing staff & team, who were the happiest we came across in our whole visit. On the evening of our meal it had bucketed down with rain! We arrived slightly late and absolutely soaked through, but were greeted with a great big smile & they even gave us a towel to dry ourselves off with (too cute! & a lovely touch!). Every member of staff had a smile on their face, a passion for the food they were serving & made us feel so welcome. The food itself was AWESOME!! Every dish carefully thought out using local, seasonal, fresh ingredients & all packed with flavour. Stand out dishes for us were, the chicken wings & duck in master sauce. They also have a great cocktail menu. This place is totally worth the money & I’d 100% recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. Extra special shout out to Ronan & Braydan who looked after us so wonderfully,...

This is my first time in Airlie Beach, so I was looking for dinner venues on Google. This restaurant seemed to have a significant amount of highly rated reviews. So I thought why not! My first dinner here was disappointing! However I had a second dinner and thought of writing this review. First I ordered prawn stir fry, ‘from the wok’. Upon arrival the dish looked amazing. Prawns were tossed in a batter and deep fried before going in the stir fry. I got steamed white rice to go with the dish. The stir fry was extremely salty. At first I thought it was the sauce but it happened to be the prawns batter. I tried to power through the dish because I was starving. But I had to spit out some of the prawns after a few bites. It was quite unpleasant. I also ordered the banished monk cocktail, which was a twist on a margarita. The drink was alright. Second time I ordered cashew chicken noodles, which was tasteful. I thought the drinks are reasonably priced. Food however is overpriced for what I received. The prawn stir-fry was $46, which was not worth it considering I didn’t even enjoy it. The two dishes I ordered could have been shared between 2 people, but not if you are starving. The staff was good.
