Loco Burrito — Restaurant in Alice Springs

We wanted burritos tonight and were absolutely disappointed with what we got.

There were 2 staff members working. Male and a female. The female was really good as for as service goes. She also seemed to ne having a great time which is awesome.

But..... I did not witness either staff member washing their hands at all. NO GLOVES WERE USED AT ALL!!!!! And the male on shift seemed to be sick. He was constantly sniffing, whipping his nose and then going back to the food.

I also witnessed him used his hands to put product on the burritos. He also dropped food on the bench and put it into the next person's burrito bowls with his hands.

I have worked in fast food for over 6 years. I was absolutely disgusted with the hygiene...

Staffed only by two people during a busy lunch hour - which means only one person cooking, since the other is constantly busy taking orders.

Waited for ~40 minutes before we came in to check for our order. They a) gave our order to someone else, b) realised this, but did not even bother to tell us (we were waiting just outside), and c) did not bother to cook a new batch until we came in asking. Gave us some free nachos without even bothering to ask if we can eat it (it's loaded with cheese and cream - I'm lactose intolerant).

Finally got our meal nearly an hour since ordering. Despite being cooked fresh, it's only lukewarm. Very disappointed with the poor service, never...

I am from Melbourne and burrito fanatic. I was drawn to the cool vibe and smell. After ordering a $25 burrito with extras because I’m hungry a few locals walk past and said “this place smells better than it tastes”. This made me a bit nervous and turns out to be true. The pulled pork tasted good only every item was separate not blended. To the left was meat, avocado, lettuce cheese. It’s like eating corn on the cob left to right to get every bit of flavour. The cheese is foul like fake cheese. I hope the owner reads this so they can improve because this place could be awesome! I give two stars for service and...
