Megafauna Central — Attraction in Alice Springs

Info centre advised us to call in as it was a great display. Walked in, spoke to the girl at reception who welcomed us, advised us to take a look or join the tour which had just started so we did. Great information and displays, really enjoying the experience. Walked with the group but then told we can’t proceed any further as we’re not included. Heard the guy say to the group“Oh them there not with us, there just blow ins” totally insulted and walked out. Pity, maybe get your info right as it’s a great location...

This is a great place to take kids, my youngest brother had a great time looking at the displays, skeleton reconstructions, measuring himself against the scale wall, examining fossils under a microscope, listening to and watching the interactive displays and videos.
