From the minute you enter this place it has a nice feel. The staff making pizzas near the entry acknowledge you and say hello when you enter, before you are greeted by waitstaff which was really nice.

Staff are very welcoming and happy. There is definitely good old fashioned service here. Staff also know the menu and could answer questions about ingredients.

Awesome menu, plenty to choose from plus chef's specials.

Food we had: Cheesy garlic bread - delish! Plenty of cheese and just the right amount of garlic on house made woodfired dough base - so good and good serving size.

Vegetarian Arancini - Deliciously creamy rice filling in a crumb that didn't fall apart when cut. Really nice creamy cheese sauce served on the side. 3 good sized arancini per serve, enough to share but you probably wont want to!

Chefs special Pork Shoulder - Thick slices of pork shoulder in a delicious sauce/gravy that was so full of flavour. Served with perfectly cooked seasonal veggies.

Veal Scaloppini - so yummy!, Veal was so tender. Sauce was perfect, white wine in sauce not overpowering, it wss a pleasure to eat. Chips were hot and crisp, salad super fresh (you could also have with veg) and I loved the addition of shaved fennel. Had the perfect amount of dressing.

We were full but couldn't go past the Tiramisu - best one I've ever had. It was so well balanced - sometimes the mascarpone is overwhelming but this was just perfect. Also in the dessert cabinet on the night we went was a Profiterole style celebration cake - omg! Layers of goodness! Custard, sponge, chocolate on a pastry base. This cake was decadent and delicious. You could slice through it with your spoon/fork and it stayed together. Divine!

Ambience at Taste of Italy was lovely, a good mix of background music and customer chatter. Tables not on top of each other so plenty of room. Very clean.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Good quality delicious food, great service. You won't leave here hungry! Will go back to try more...

Went to Taste of Italy for a birthday lunch. Delicious pizza and Italian meatballs. Excellent service as usual. I definitely recommend going here, whether for lunch or dinner. My friend had never been here before and is definitely coming again. Well done, Team Taste of Italy! Ciao!

Tonight was amazing. With the extremely hot weather, we enjoyed the cool environment and family-friendly atmosphere at Taste of Italy. Gino, the chef, was very kind to give us an appetiser on the house, which was delicious. We enjoyed lasagne and spaghetti calabrese, and the portions were so large....we will take some home and enjoy tomorrow. Nice to see the restaurant thriving and busy, and well trained staff in attendance. Grazie and ciao!

Another great dinner at Taste of Italy....wonderful food with large portions and excellent quality! The chef is amazing and willing to go the extra mile to make the dinner experience fantastic. The staff have been trained well and took care of all our needs. An amazing restaurant and very bellisimo!

Usually a great spot to come and have a meal however our last visit was less than what you would expect. The dining space was only half full throughout the night however it still took quite a while from being seated to having someone take our order (between 30 - 40 minutes). We ordered 3 pizzas and a couple of pasta dishes, one of which had plastic shards through it. We flagged a waitress to let her know and she disappeared for another 20 minutes before we got her attention again, at which point she'd forgotten the original issue with the pasta and hadn't organised any solution. Despite this we were looking to order dessert however, after waiting another 40 odd minutes, a different waitress took part of our order and went to show us the desserts available before simply wandering off elsewhere. We tried to raise the above issues (again) with the person taking our payment however she couldn't be less concerned if she tried. Her only answer to the above was "We try not to hover around people as we've been told we sometimes over-cater". I understand however the solution to this isn't to completely forget the customer. I'd like to think this was just a bad night however I'm not planning to go back and verify this any time soon. Really...
