I wouldn’t usually leave a review but I wanted to save someone having an embarrassing experience like me. If you need to have your meal adjusted for dietary needs I would go elsewhere. I asked if I could pay for the full lamb dish but just remove the hummus because I can’t eat it but unfortunately that is not possible because the chef likes the dishes to look a certain way so instead of being willing to cater for a dietary requirement for a customer who was willing to pay full price to have an item removed that is easy to be removed I was left embarrassed and had to go elsewhere. Very sad as this is somewhere we visit a lot to get coffee. We went down to another middle eastern down the road and they were more than happy to cater for our dietary requirements.
Edit: there is no email to contact you directly but I’d like to resolve this issue. Firstly I think it is very disappointing that you would insinuate that I didn’t get my “way”. A serious medical condition that required a small doable alteration to a meal does not qualify as me wanting “my way” and being upset because I didn’t get “my way” I wouldn’t have minded if some alternate options were offered to me but to say the chef will refuse to remove the hummus because it doesn’t look good it’s really not trying to cater for anyone. I was embarrassed because of the way it was handled and we had to leave because I was not able to eat there. I would be more then happy to try and work this out and remove my review but by saying I’m trying to get my way like I am a spoiled Brat for having a medical condition does not really help the situation or show that you have any respect for a customer that spends their money getting coffees at your shops every week. It is pretty ridiculous to refuse to make a small change to a meal because it will look bad when I am trying to support your business by eating there and bringing my friends for a meal. If you can’t acknowledge that then I’m not sure how we can...

Read moreI absolutely adore it here. You literally feel like you’re eating at the owners house. It’s such a warm, loving and welcoming atmosphere. I’m huge on service and the service here was absolutely perfect. Each individual staff member was so friendly and attentive. Everyone was smiling, I can’t fault this place one bit. Atmosphere & service and the food 10 out of 10. I had the most delicious Iranian tea which was served with a crystallised sugar stick, it really hit the spot. My friend and I both had the Rueben sandwich with a twist and Wow it was the best Rueben sandwich I’ve ever had. I loved how it was blowtorched at the table! Very impressive and Of course it gave it that beautiful smoky touch. The Reuben had the most tender, juicy and flavoursome brisket and was paired with a really Creamy and delicious horseradish cream. I was not expecting this. The whole sandwich was insane. I need to go back and eat everything on the menu. To finish it off we were treated to a flourless coconut cake. It was incredible, so moist and tasty. It was delicious. I was so full but I found room to fit it in. This place feels like Home and I can’t wait to go back again. Thankyou Tel Aviv Yafo for such a beautiful and unique...
