Hey Lady Diner — Restaurant in Ballina

we unfortunately didn’t have a great as experience as we would of wanted. given ladies night was going to be busy we booked in advance however we’re seated at a table shoved out beside the entrance door amongst other people. the seat was really not a nice place to be seated and we considered leaving. good was average, presentation in person didn’t match the foods i have seen online. service wasn’t great there was one girl who was very polite and really great but everyone else ignored us and we had to ask multiple times to have menus, order more drinks, cutlery?? not super impressed and was really excited...

The perfect casual dining bar and great atmosphere. It’s so refreshing to have a contemporary restaurant in Ballina. I love Japanese food and their take on a Japanese menu was spot on, it’s not traditional but an excellent selection of blended Asian cuisines with an Australian take on them. Drinks menu is exceptional and like their owners they’ve included local and independently owned produce. The staff are efficient and provide a service that makes you feel right at home. The cauliflower dish deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easily! We also got the slow cooked pork bao which was ok, we missed some flavour in the pork. The staff are so LOVELY, it’s just impossible not to feel “welcome”. The drinks are nice too, with different flavours and we got a nice coconut margarita. What we felt it’s doesn’t have many options for food and what it has is expensive for what is it. Anyways, the customer service, the drinks and the cauliflower make it worth 4 stars .
