Martin's Bakery Ballina — Restaurant in Ballina

I spent day and night in Ballina hospital and sick days after due to ordering meat salad roll lunch from Martin's highlighting NO CUCUMBER due to Allergy. Instead they added CUCUMBER claiming that SOME PEOPLE just don't like cucumber as their excuse??? Also that it was MY FAULT for not adding my full medical disclosure on my lunch orders? Apparently HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO CUCUMBER and NO CUCUMBER ALLERGIC wasn't enough?? Mind you we had ordered EVERY DAY for a week each day via a TAFE group and EVERY day all lunches were not marked named resulting in me having to swap my lunch with other students and other students also not getting what they ordered. The 4th day was when I was poisoned by Martins bakery and anaphylaxis near killed me. Scabby burns on ny eyes mouth and face remained near 2 weeks on. As for their response yes I'm beyond disgusted and my entire Tafe class likewise were disgusted in my treatment and will NEVER be using this bakery again Very unprofessional management and poor food handling. The food is beyond yummy and the lady that served me was amazing the young lady with the tattoos very accommodating to my little girls as they are fussy. The reason I only gave 1* was because of the lady on pies tan skin brownish blond hair I think her name was Nikki she was very rude towards the lady serving me the bullying and under breath where disgusting and needs to stop no person needs to be treated this way let alone at Christmas time. I don’t know if I’ll be back just because of this as bullying is not ok and the lady needs to apologise or not work their any more as customers do not need to hear or see people...

BEST SANDWICH SHOP EVER!! Visiting our Uni daughter from Forster, we were having trouble finding a sandwich shop in the area. A trolley guy from Ballina Fair gave us directions to Martins and we never looked back. Their salad sandwiches were awesome - so delicious and fresh! The service was fantastic too. With a steady stream of customers coming through the door the ladies behind the sandwich bar were cheery, professional and worked together like a well oiled machine.
