Amazing sushi platters and catering options! This year we had Suisen prepare some nigiri platters for our Christmas dinner. The quality was very high and we were so happy with the results. We ordered 3 separate platters of salmon, tuna and fresh scallop nigiri which we later seared with a blow torch. Many of our guests who have never tried sashimi or nigiri before could not get enough of it which is such a compliment to the chef. I would highly recommend giving Suisen a go for their platters and entertaining at-home options.

Fresh, delicious and authentic Japanese. I've been coming to Suisen Japanese for close to 10 years and it never disappoints. The restaurant is run by the lovely Seng and his wife Chieko. Here we have a Chirashi bowl, it's one of my favorite Japanese meals. The word ā€œchirashiā€ means ā€œscattered,ā€ so this is basically a bigĀ bowlĀ of rice mixed with fish, vegetables, and additional ingredients of your choice.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki set. It came with rice, chicken teriyaki, shredded cabbage, sliced cucumber, slices of tomato and a teaspoon sized portion of potato. Everything was average except for the chicken which was terrible. It was dry and bland and not covered in sauce like normal places. I had eaten here a few times and had become increasingly disappointed by their food. I called the restaurant to tell them and he told me he had put a lot of sauce on it. Which just isn't true. I hope this review prompts the restaurant to evaluate the food they are providing - you can't serve dry and poorly sauced chicken teriyaki and...

THIS PLACE IS NEXT LEVEL šŸ”„šŸ£

Stumbled across this hidden sushi joint and Iā€™m actually blown away. Old-school, family-owned, and run by the nicest older couple ā€” you can feel the love in every detail. The sushi? Fresh as hell. Simple, clean, and seriously some of the best Iā€™ve had.

No hype, no gimmicks ā€” just legit quality and good vibes. Itā€™s the kind of place you almost want to keep secretā€¦ but it deserves all the love. If you know, you know. 11/10 ā€” absolute weapon of a spot.

I got the salmon set, sushi & pork gyouza!!!!!
