Consumers beware! If I could give no stars I would. Ordered $116 worth of take away. Sang Chow Bow, Chow mein, Pepper steak, chicken satay skewers, fried rice. 3 of us tried all the food and spat it out! Made us all feel sick. Funny smell. Steak was just a piece of fat. Chicken had no flavour and honestly questioned if it was chicken. Sang Chow Bow was mush that wouldn’t give to my dogs. I rang the restaurant and they said if you weren’t satisfied, bring it back for a full refund. Got there 10 minutes later, and the female owner said to me “because we had tried the food, she couldn’t refund any money. And that I just don’t know what traditional Chinese food is”. Also said I was the 1st customer to complain in 10 years! Read your reviews. This restaurant is terrible! Don’t just try better, close the doors. How you have operated for over a week is beyond me. Call the health department. After being very disgusted with the food and service, they said they would refund me half out of good faith. Shove your good faith. Food, service, attitude, all terrible. The Golden Paradise was always the place to get delicious food, however, today at lunch the meals we received were practically inedible. We ordered the lunch deal & there was Mongolian Lamb, a weirdly sweet, oily concoction bearing no resemblance to any Mongolian Lamb I've ever tasted. After wondering around Bathurst for 30 mins you almost want to give up looking for a decent restaurant, we just stumbled into here. You know this place is going to be good when every customer knows her name - Linda. We walked in when she was 10 mins away from finishing the lunch session, but She welcomes us and she makes you feels like home, $8.5 lunch menu.
