This has to be one of the worst places to order from, especially through the drive-thru. I’ve ordered here multiple times, and almost every single time, the wait has been far beyond what’s reasonable. Maybe it’s coincidence, maybe it’s not, but I often end up waiting 15–20 minutes for something as simple as a burger and fries.
What makes it even more frustrating is that I usually place my order first, but the people behind me get their food before I do. It doesn’t feel like the size of my order is the issue, since it’s always something small and standard.
On top of that, the staff come across as very selective in how they treat customers, almost like they decide who deserves quicker or better service. That’s just how it comes off to me, and it leaves a very negative impression.
Overall, I really hope others don’t stumble into this place by mistake, it’s simply not worth your time and money.
Update: I ordered a double cheeseburger and a sundae at Hungry Jack’s around 8:30 PM on October 1st. What I got? A shitty cheeseburger that doesn’t even look like food, and like always, something was missing—nuggets this time.
I’ve written reviews about this same place before because it keeps screwing up orders. I pay for my meals, but this place keeps robbing me. It’s daylight robbery, plain and simple.
Today, they gave me a burger that wasn’t even my order. This is not okay. Hungry Jack’s, your service is trash, and you don’t deserve to stay open. Worst service and experience ever, never been more frustrated over a restaurant before. What a way to end a day and start the month, totally ruined it!
Update: 7 October, like always I am missing something. Do better Hungry...
Read moreI would normally rate HJ's a healthy 5/5 just for the taste of these burgers. Today I decided on a delivery, instead of a pick up option from the app.
I ordered the Family Bundle Large (Order number - 3150-97129-7627). This included 2 Whoppers, 2 Chicken Royales, 4X large Chips, Chicken nuggets 10 Pack and 4 Large cokes.
Unfortunately when the driver (Menulog handed me just the one big bag it didn't feel as heavy as I thought. That's when I opened the bad and found only the 4 large cokes. Turned around and he disappeared fast.
I made calls to Hungry Jacks - The manager, very politely said that once the order left the store they had little to do with the order. He did however told me how to contact Menulog.
I phoned Menulog who said they can offer a refund of around $36 from the total spent - $62.90. (5.95 Delivery).
So take into factor the large cokes were about $20, and I guess every though it was a partial delivery, I'm paying for full delivery. I just spent $26 for 4 Large Cokes.
My advice is that it's better collecting this delicious food rather than ever paying for delivery again. You can check what you received...
Read moreI was delighted to visit the newly opened Hungry Jacks restaurant. This morning, I decided to order a coffee and breakfast. The food was delicious, but my experience at the drive-thru was less than satisfactory.
As I approached the speaker to place my order, I felt rushed. The voice kept repeating, "Place your order when you're ready," which made me feel pressured to respond quickly. I was just trying to look at the menu, but I felt hurried through the process.
When I reached the first window, my order was confirmed, and before I could even grab my purse, the EFTPOS machine was pushed through my driver's side window. The transaction was not even complete when the girl from the speaker instructed me to move to the next window.
At the second window, a friendly young girl handed me my drink and asked me to park in the waiting bay. When I parked, I realized that my coffee was actually a coke. I went inside the store, and the young girl seemed to be aware of the mistake and was very apologetic.
I understand that it's fast food, but the experience was not enjoyable, especially first thing in the morning before I...
