How do you create a remarkable experience? Exceed the expectations of your customers!! 💥
This is a must do for any food business especially when you are located in a country town!! Tonight’s experience @bdspizza matched even the best I’ve experienced around Melbourne and here is why 😄
When we arrived at our dinner location we couldn’t find the restaurant, so I asked a staff member at a pizza place where it was.. Despite the restaurant being in direct competition with the pizza business. Matt the staff member walked us to the other restaurants exact location! 😳
Matt’s display of caring for the customer more than more his own needs immediately caught my attention! As a result even if the other restaurant was open I knew we would of still eaten in his restaurant 😃
Quality ingredients I ordered a the Pappardelle Pollo Pesto Pasta “that’s a lot of P’s” 😂 Upon eating the dish you could tell that this recipe was crafted with the customers satisfaction in mind! The ingredients had so much flavour and the ratios were perfect!
The plate! When was the last time you went to a country town eatery and the plate they gave you the receipt on was warm? I grew up in the country and this never happened! It might seem simple however it immediately changed the final conversation of the night to a positive discussion about our experience! Well played @bdspizza! 👻
Thank you @bdspizza for a great experience tonight! It’s a shame your online branding doesn’t include Instagram 😕 The reviews you have received on Facebook, are a clear example of the people who want to share their experience about your business online! I’m looking forward to seeing the new Instagram account up and running next week 😜
I would give you a 6 if I...
Read moreWalked in to BDs after seeing the wood fire oven and expecting a good quality pizza. Staff were welcoming and were able to get us a table (at one of the many free tables as it was early in the evening). I ordered a pizza and the Mrs ordered a salad. The pizza was a bit of a an insult to the oven it was cooked in. Imagine a frozen supermarket pizza that had been left in the oven too long. They are clearly using frozen or pre-made pizza bases which is a real shame given the quality of the oven they are using. There seemed more chefs than customers so you’d think it would be easy enough to make some hand made dough. As for the toppings - I went for the meat feast and couldn’t tell what meat was on the pizza as it all tasted so bland and flavourless, seemed like very cheap low quality ingredients. Looking back I should have complained but I don’t like to cause a fuss. Hands down not the Italian way to make a pizza, but maybe the Aussies like that burnt supermarket texture if they’ve never experienced anything authentic before. The Mrs chicken ceasar salad was 95% lettuce, minimal amount of chicken. The restaurant seemed to be getting busy as we were leaving, maybe thats a sign of the lack of restaurants available in bowral. Who knows. Hopefully they can start to make their own pizza dough and improve the quality of ingredients to make the most out of their...
Read moreWe visited this business Thursday 25th January around 5pm, and after walking on a very humid day my sister suggested Wood Fired Pizza for dinner and we stubbled upon BD's. Upon entry out of the humanity we ordered two pizzas, one Ham and pineapple and one BBQ chicken with red onion added on both. After we finished ordering i asked if we could wait inside the cool restaurant to which the server said "No, and if we could please wait outside" which we complied with but was not happy as we were paying customers. I also asked for a glass of water for both my sister and i as we were both very thirsty from our long walk to which she said yes but gave us hot tap water when they had there own bottles of cold water in there fridge. Anyway, we did not let this ruin our day until we ate what they call Pizza. I have had many pizzas in my time and this was far from what i would call pizza. It was bland, tasteless and inedible except for the subtle taste of garlic, this was by far the worst pizza we have ever eaten and we would not recommend or return.
We did not let this ruin our evening, but as we could no longer eat what BDs made we were left hungry as we were staying in a accommodation far from shops, it was late and everything else was closed and we did not bring any...
