Thank you so much to Carla and the whole team and Vanilla Pod for making my wedding cake dreams come true. It was one the the easiest things to organise because of how professionally and efficiently things are run by Carla and the Vanilla Pod team. I had a very specific image in my head but struggled to bring it to words and didn’t know how to explain exactly what I wanted. After one meeting with Carla I was so confident that I would be so happy with the final product. She listened, gave advice and recommendations and was so patient and kind. Vanilla Pod communicated with the florist and handhe rest after that. I literally didn’t have to worry or think about the cake after that at all. It just magically appeared at the reception. Zero stress or effort from my behalf but obviously a lot of time and hard work from the amazing team at Vanilla Pod. I was beyond happy with our wedding cake. A HUGE thank you to Carla and the team for making such a wonderfully exquisite tasting bespoke cake for my 60t birthday! I was beyond happy when I arrived at the restaurant to see my cake in all its glory! The personalised cake toppers (our little Budgie Harry and our Pug Puppy Empy) were exactly what we discussed and exceeded my expectations. Everyone at my party were awestruck by the presentation of the cake and its scrumptious flavour (buttercake with jam and buttercream filling and buttercream frosting - DIVINE). I mentioned to Carla that I wanted to replicate the flavours of our wedding cake and that it is exactly what she did - it was like being married again AND celebrating a milestone birthday all at once - simply wonderful. WOW!!!! if you love cake, like i love cake, Vanilla pod is a 10 out of 10! vanilla pod was recommended to me from a friend to do our wedding cake, and all i will say i, I'll never get a cake anywhere else. Vanilla pod is now our family cake specialty shop. I even will go there for my weekend treats. Carla and her team are beyond kind and super helpful, my husband and i first met Carla from booking online to do a cake tasting, she sat down with us with our 5 flavours, we picked our favourite ones, and she began to design our perfect wedding cake. Working together with my husband and I and what little inspiration images we had. ALL the cakes are super delicious and just the right amount of flavour, they're not to dense or rich they're light and fluffy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND VANILLA POD, thanks again ladies, you were a hit at our wedding.
