Bev's Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The reviews about the person at this cafe being rude, is sadly true. I walked in, a few minutes to midday, the cafe was empty of patrons, a lady was cleaning. I stood at the counter without acknowledgement. She walked behind the counter and kept wiping down the bench in front of me, again without acknowledgement. After standing there for too long without being served I left. Do they not want any customers? I then walked down the hill to the Spring Hill Cafe, and was greeted immediately on entry with a warm greeting, and was treated as welcome....

Needed some water as I could feel I was starting to get dehydrated. I'm like oh hey what's your EFTPOS minimum, not knowing how much the water was, they're like $4.50. No prices listed on the fridge.

I'm thinking to myself surely that's not $4.50 so I'm like okay I'll grab another one, she's like $9 please, I'm like oh never mind, I'll get the one, I go pop it back, she answers the phone while I do, it's a very fake 'darling' this, 'darling' that, I apologise after she hangs up, I buy the $4.50 no-name water. Definitely recycling the bottle...

Popped in for a coffee, unfortunately the Lady was very rude and completely imgored that i was even in the shop. She was sitting down on her mobile while i waited at counter for a few minutes. She didn't serve me, I walked out and came back 5 minutes later asked for my coffee finally She was up but still rude, took a while longer to stop chatting and come serve me, the coffee was boiling hot I had to throw away it was burnt. Avoid this place there's a nice little coffee shop just down the road much better coffee...
