Brumby's Rode Rd — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My partner and I purchase from this Brumbies multiple times a week. Usually small pastries with our morning coffee before we head to work etc. The service has always been wonderful, especially the one lady with lipstick (possibly the owner) we love her.

I regret to say last week we purchased some bread rolls and 2 ham amd cheese danish's. We got home and after my partner scoffed down his first Danish we went to get the 2nd one and realised it was INFESTED with ants!!

I went back today to tell the staff or owner and see if it was isolated I hate to say it is not!! I could see in the cabinet every single ham amd cheese Danish was completely infested with ants!! I let the team member know who sounded shocked and insisted she cleaned the cabinet every morning, which I don't doubt. I actually beleive it is isolated to the danish's themselves, as nothing else in the cabinet beside or around them had any signs of ants.

I assumed she would take them from the cabinet, but she did not take any action to immediately remove them. I then told her, you need to throw those out that's really not OK. She said of course. So I left. I parked my car directly opposite the bakery and sat in my car and watched for a few minutes. She did not remove them from the cabinet. She walked back into the bakry, only returning to serve someone who had walked up. Served them and still I didn't see her remove them!!

This is a HUGE concern and I hope this reaches the owner and I truly hope they take immediate action on this. I would hate for this to end badly with health and safety concerns or customers...

We've eaten from a number of Brumbies franchises and unfortunately this has to be the worst we've been to. We ordered meat pies and cream dohnuts (long johns).

Firstly I struggled to find a single morsel of mushroom in my beef & mushroom pie, forgetting the absence of identifiable beef, it appeared to be some sort of gravy-mush filling. My partner who ordered a pepper steak pie said the same. Both pies lacked flavour and on sharing, tasted pretty much the same as each other...

There needs to be pricing applied to things on the table out front. I picked up lamingtons and a bunch of what I thought was 2 for $12.50. Had a near coronary when I saw the total came to $30. The first time I saw the price was when my card was out and everything was packed into the bag ready to tap an go. The lamingtons were mushy, the packet holding them is wet.
