Cenzo’s Café in Mount Gravatt, and I can confidently say this Italian café is a hidden gem in Brisbane. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a delightful dining experience.
The menu is a brunch lover's dream! I indulged in the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, which featured perfectly poached eggs atop fresh smoked salmon, all brought together with a velvety hollandaise sauce—absolutely delicious. The Bruschetta topped with buffalo mozzarella and a drizzle of balsamic was a flavorful start to the meal. I also tried the Housemade Savoury Mince & Toast, served in a cast iron skillet, with homemade mince topped with an egg—baked to perfection! To satisfy my sweet tooth, the Belgian Waffles loaded with fresh berries, vanilla ice cream, and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce were simply divine.
Cenzo’s Café truly shines in the quality of their ingredients and the stunning presentation of their dishes. Whether you’re in the mood for something savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re a coffee lover, don’t leave without trying their affogato—it’s an absolute must!
Highly recommend Cenzo’s Café for anyone looking for a fantastic brunch spot in Brisbane. I’ll...
Read moreIt’s an okay cafe. Has the usual kind of menu you’d find anywhere. The price is a bit steep for what you get so I recommend finding a more unique cafe that offers more for the price you pay.
I ordered a salmon Benedict and wanted it on Gf bread. The only Gf option was in the add ons and so I thought they’d simply swap out the sourdough with the Gf bread. Sadly they didn’t so I was served my salmon Benedict on sourdough with a side of gf bread… which I kind of laughed at because it’s not that hard to ask someone if they would like it Gf considering they ordered Gf bread.
I enquired about their chai to see if there was caffeine in it. There was and I told the ladies that there was caffeine in it to which they just shrugged me off awkwardly. I work in hospitality and when I find things out via customers I find it helpful, I don’t shrug them and then act rude afterwards. The hot chocolate I received was watery too.
A bit disappointed by the service, food and drink considering it has...
Read moreThis place is so slow, they need to learn some hustle. I have been here three times and each time the staff (they have quite a few for a small place) walk around like they are on break and they take 20+ minutes to make a coffee. I even ordered ahead once and then stood there for 15 minutes as one of only three customers also waiting on coffees. It turned out that the barista made my order but chose not to call it out. When someone else realised they called me over, I said I didn’t hear them call me earlier (I assumed she had but I missed it), and the barista said she hadn’t called out my name. Another time my single coffee order got missed by mistake (it happens) the owner realised and asked the barista to make my coffee next. She made another persons order, the owner told her again, she made another persons coffee again. If you have 30 minutes to grab an average take away coffee, then this place is...
