L Hit and Miss. Most staff are friendly and welcoming but there are a few "wanna-be management climbers" who go out of their way to make you feel like you are privileged to be here. In particular - a vertically challenged "security" guy who struts around the gaming room with his chest puffed out trying to look important. He will assume that you are doing the wrong thing without any evidence and lie when challenged. Also - the tall girl in the cafe with the brown hair in a pony tail. I think her name begins with a "J". She has as a chip on her shoulder and clearly does not enjoy working there. She is always stressed, never smiles and is in a bad mood. She's frightening to order from.

After visiting with friends and family several times we have come to the conclusion that certain staff members at Club Southside don't understand the importance of "keeping the customer happy". More staff training in manners and a customer focused approach is definately needed.

Also - the quality of the food is dependant on who the chef is on duty that day. We have had over cooked steak and burnt food more times than not. The new cafe menu is not appealing - particulary the date pancakes. They taste like dried up, rotting garbage. The smoked salmon on the potato rosti is NEVER hot although it is advertised as such.

As far as catering for dietary needs - forget it! The staff have no idea about gluten free and most times there are no gluten free sweet options in the cafe cabinet. I've witnessed gluten free cakes being placed on the same plate and shelf as non-gluten free products, rendering them inedible to people sensitive to gluten.

The specials on offer M-TH in the restaurant never cater for food intolerances except for the steak. Depending on which chef is asked there may or may not be a gluten or dairy free option. How difficult is it to have a box of gluten free or dairy free pancake batter in the kitchen? At least there would be one dessert option for those of us who suffer from the most common food intolerances.

Club Southside is convenient to where we live and hence the reason we continue to patronage it. If the above mentioned staff members relaxed and at least pretended to enjoy their jobs it would make the experience more pleasant...

Food is really good and yummmmy and can be cooked well and is the only good thing their.

Workers are nice at the front but others inside are stuck up big time.

Pokies game is another here testing all p in pubs for a case as once again you can't win or take winning..

They have controll on what you can win on different types of money

I tried one dolla bet and one dollas place and not one single three dragons as they were blocked out completely.

You s need to stop ripping people of and allow people to win somthing

Done another test today and 3000 grand and it's all record so don't be detling it either will show you, you can't win much.

Only got hand full of win and small amounts from it and that's 3000 grand total and wrong so bad and their many other s who sat next to me who said the same thing that they barely give wins.

How could you rob elder people money when all they doing is trying to something extra to keep living. You wouldn't like it if happened to your grandparents what so ever.

Disgusting that you can't even win something little and your buying food and drinks and all and they still have the cheek to take your money.

Your lucky I walked out or else you would of had a ear full in your face.
