Four Hearts Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Stayed at a hotel near-by & dropped by for breakfast before returning home. Great position & ambience for breaky. Asked the lady at the counter do you serve bacon & eggs. Her response “well its on the menu”. Not a smile or friendly gesture at all. When I returned to my table which was very ‘wobbly’, I again went to the counter & asked if she had a piece of cardboard to put underneath as a block, her response “not really”. She then gave me a small paper napkin which was useless. When she brought my breakfast to the table, I thanked her. She made no eye contact, no smile and made absolutely no verbal contact whatsoever. The women was working on her own & very busy, & seemed extremely efficient, but came across rude, grumpy & made me feel very unwelcome. Its a shame, the bacon & eggs was excellent but I would never have breakfast...

I like the food and the drink. I don’t like the unfriendly staff. If only I could ask her to smile at least when serving the customers. I read the previous reviews also experienced the same as me. Please be friendly, Lady, just smile, it’s NOT hard to do. I won’t come for twice though if she is still serving the order, my “bon appetite” mood...
