Fuel Brewing Co Bulimba — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Words cannot simply describe rebel brewing co, but I will give it my fair go. The location, setting and the atmospheric experience that is provided is unbeatable. I have always been a big fan of brewery’s and this brewery tops the charts, from the massive brewing barrels to the nostalgia that is caused by the table bench seating reminding me of an old fashioned pub back from my heyday. The very diverse range of beer on tap and for takeaway purchase is a huge winner in my eyes. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to try all of their beers yet but these are a few that I have been fortunate enough to try. Kicking off with their XPA, coming in at only 4.7% this beer was definitely one added to the list, perfect for every occasion. This beer had plenty of hops from the floral aromas and a hint of passion fruit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Next on the list their IPA, a good IPA to me is a hoppy yet easy drinking beer, this is no exception. Hoppy, a touch bitter but most certainly a beer to enjoy and have a couple ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Lastly, is their Pale Ale, certainly no regrets, this went down a treat. A very nice tropical beer makes it a go to on a nice sunny QLD day. A non-invasive mild bitterness made it a beer to really hit the spot. REVEL: "to enjoy oneself in a lively and noisy way, especially with drinking and dancing". This fab venue and aptly named boutique brewing group do NOT disappoint. I cannot thank the Revel Brewing Co. team enough, from management through to bar staff, for making my milestone birthday celebration the best yet of my half century! Not only did they step-up by stepping in, when with ONLY two days notice the venue I'd originally booked closed down, but they did so with such aplomb it was utterly awe inspiring! NOTHING was too much trouble! They let me madly take over to decorate the place to my liking, easily fit 50 of my nearest and dearest in, let me pump my 80's party playlist throughout the place, let me make a bit of mess setting up my awesome desert grazing table and topped it off by making the BEST special order vegan pizzas for us all to enjoy! Everyone who attended were supremely impressed by the space, the food the AMAZING drinks menu and - naturally - the brilliant Revel team. I was so hoping to give this place positive vibes, but man - what a huge disappointment! I came here for my birthday to enjoy some pizza and beer, What we got instead was staff that didn't care about hospitality. Fronted the bar, ordered a beer and came back minutes later to order a pizza. Paid full price, - then asked, "you got any specials through the week?" . Yes, came the answer, Wednesday Thursday we do $15 pizza with any beer. OK, strange - it is Wednesday and we just ordered beer and pizza, but you made me pay full price. Was told in bland terms it had to be in one transaction to get the deal. Unreal. We were going to stay and enjoy a few more pizzas and beer with friends. Went somewhere else instead. We also enquired about their dog-friendly policy. No problem apparently, but when we arrived, the only place for us was outside in the pouring rain, sitting on wet tables and chairs, even though the place was basically empty. Pizza and beer seemed OK, but service let it down!...
