Came in today (3pm) asking for the brown sugar milk tea with soy, to which they said they couldn't make it. I was wondering why they made it for me at the Gong Cha at Queen St. Mall and at Garden City so I asked them. The man working there said they don't have the same ingredients as they are different kind of Gong Cha stores. I said oh okay fair enough. The guy seemed very irritated saying the stores have two different names and acted like it was obvious even though they have the same signs and menu. So I asked if they could do a different tea with soy and the lady at the counter said yes. As she began to put it through the same guy there started laughing at the screen and began heatedly arguing with the girl who said it would be fine with soy. The girl then came back to me saying they could make it again but it won't taste as good. I said that's fine just wanting to leave already. The guy looked really annoyed and they made the tea which literally took like 30 seconds as the other teas normally do. When they handed it to me the girl said this is just a one off and they can't make it again. That's so rude as it didn't take any time at all so I don't get why it was such a big deal adding soy? They could have just said in the first place what tea they could do with soy, instead of saying yes to a tea they normally don't do--then getting mad at me. They made me feel horrible for having a dairy allergy with their nasty service. It must have been so 'difficult' to put soy in a milk tea that they LITERALLY advertise. Never coming...
Read moreWorst experience ever. We visited around 4:50pm this afternoon. We bought a brown sugar fresh milk, it was not busy, only us at the counter at the time, a short girl with nose piercing(cashier) who served us didn’t ask what sugar and ice level we wanted just put standard. After ordering, she rudely instructed us to move aside as there was another customer behind us, I understand you got other customer to serve but she could have used a more polite way rather than inpatiently shooking her hands and told us to move. When collecting the drink, the other staff ask for our receipt, but we did not get any receipt, she then asked the cashier, the cashier insisted she gave us the receipt, come on, there was only two patrons at the time and we just paid 2 minutes ago, instead of simply giving us the drink, they kept us waiting over there, two staff were communicating with each other for a few rounds, and cashier was arguing she already gave us the receipt, she just pointed at the bin and floor as a prove she didn’t have it. What sort of moron does that? The cashier clearly knows we ordered a drink, they could have just handed it over instead of giving everyone a hard time. This is pathetic. Most disgusting service ever. Hire normal and better...
Read moreI would have preferred to not give a star at all to the Sunnybank Plaza Gong Cha. After collecting 10 stamps, I proceeded to scan my PassUWallet for a free drink at 2.50pm. However, the Gong Cha staff told me I had already redeemed it and was unable to process the order even though lady who served me clearly saw the 10 cup stamps. Quite confused, I explained that I had never redeemed it before and collected all 10 stamps yesterday. In fact, there was an employee working today that served me yesterday and scanned my PassUWallet but did not say anything. In the end, I was told that they could do absolutely nothing about my free drink. What angered me the most was the fact that the only male staff rostered on today seemingly implied that I was trying to scam them for a mere $6.80 drink. As someone who has worked in retail before, I would expect at least an apology for the faulty PassUWallet technology or something of the like.
Now, not only have I lost all 10 cup stamps (when the lady scanned my PassUWallet) which I have paid for but I will not be returning to this store, nor will my friends and peers as clearly, there are other Gong Cha stores or tea stores in Brisbane with better customer service and attitude for the like. Extremely...
