AMAZING food & service! If you are a food lover, get Sarmic to cater! Sarmic catered for 40 people at my 40th birthday party at our house last weekend and EVERYBODY raved about the delicious food! The 'angry beans' canape & 'Lebanese style lamb' was so good. Michael reccommended some great suggestions for a flavoursome, wholesome menu and it was presented beautifully on the night. Catering with Sarmic includes options to hire glassware & serveware & includes cleaning up afterwards!! Michael was very easy to deal with & importantly flexible & accommodating even with having to reschedule the party due to sudden Covid restrictions. I would highly recommend Sarmic to everyone & will definitely be asking them to cater our...

My wife and I tried this café for a late lunch right on closing as informed the waiter. The owner bounced out and said we will stay open for you if you would like lunch or breakfast. Well service and personable and happy. The café is nice modern and breezy and spotless right down to the toilets. Now the food is modern fresh and fantastically delishious. The Twice cooked Pork burger is nothing I've had before and was amazing. Our entrée the cafes version of potato skins was next level and the best take on such a simple dish. During these trying times business's like this who really go out of there way with the quality we experienced deserve a visit and I highly...

Lovely spot however... An hour to wait for avo on toast and a kids pancakes which I could probably try and rustle up in 5-10 minutes if you let me loose in the kitchen. 100% appreciate that it was a busy Sunday morning but you've got to find a way around the simple food like this (and the kids food in particular) taking this long.

With a 3 year old wriggling about and generally causing chaos to occur whilst waiting, it's just not sustainable no matter what the quality of food ultimately is. Which was good for the record. Even an advisory of the wait time before ordering, especially for those with kids, might be a...

We had an awesome spur of the moment late brunch at Sarmic. The coffee is well made and full of flavour. I'm not sure what beans or roast they use but it ticks all the boxes. We had porridge with banana and brown sugar and the sauteed mushrooms with greens, Persian Fetta and poached eggs on pané. The porridge was divine, the mushrooms were great and both meals were a big serve and value for money. Sarmic had friendly service and a nice atmosphere. There were homemade relishes, sauces and pickles for sale on the counter and nice variety of cakes in the cabinet. Highly recommended

We've been here a couple of times now. The cafe has a nice area out the back for those with dogs. Both times the food was excellent, although the coffee was better the first time around. We found the wait staff to be very courteous and friendly, each time making sure our pup had access to fresh water. Will keep coming back for the great good.

Favourite coffee spot in Morningside! Authentic, rustic, laid back with an earthy vibe.. I love stopping in for my morning coffee on the way to work - the coffee window on the street is so cool! Plus the food is ripper - Mick does the best relish in town!! Highly recommend the bacon and egg with the green relish and a coffee for brekky 👌🏻🤫🍳🥓🥪
