As someone who has at one point worked in fast food I do not like to complain. However, I am beyond fed up with the attitude of the workers, particularly the Latina/os at this store. They chose this job, so they can at least have a bit of spring in their step with at least a smile without, chewing gum, eye rolls and sarcasm. I come here often as I love close by, it’s typically healthy, and good food. The treatment of customers is so disgusting. Eyerolling, visible frustration and putrid attitude is all I’ve witnessed at the Milton store. I had been waiting behind a lady that had been ordering and without having time to put her card in her bag, the girl working the register had called out “NEXT!” peering over the lady with such disgust and gesturing her to move. It was awful to see, despicable! Not only that, when you’re ordering your food they couldn’t even act like they care. You tell them your order, slowly at that, and they still do not get it right on the till or at the kitchen. and ask you a million questions because they’re not actively listening and couldn’t care less. Fair enough it’s a fast food job, but do better. Every single order, I speak clearly, and annunciate every word perfectly so they do not miss anything, the amount of times I have to repeat myself is crazy and most times I just give up on such basic requests. They are infamous at this store for not listening and getting orders wrong and it’s about time management takes pride in their service and food quality. I have an allergy to mushrooms and I have found mushroom in my food countless times. Not just mushroom but ingredients I haven’t ordered and lacking there of the ones I PAID for. The cross contamination and lack of care for the product is deeply concerning. There is too much negative experiences I have had that I could share but not a lot of time. Read moreI went and dined in at the GYG of Milton for the second time last night, and obviously the food is great.
However, there is a particular female, white, blonde, blue eyed, and seemingly Latina or European, worker who has given me terrible service. She kept on closing her mouth tightly, kept on biting her mouth, kept on playing with her mouth to tease me (I was born differently FYI!), didn’t give me much eye contact like every employee is required to (she was looking at her phone while I approached and waited at the counter for her to attend me), didn’t communicate with me properly, weren’t empathetic, was somewhat racist, no friendliness whatsoever, and didn’t even smile at me.
Overall, I’m not gonna lie, she made me feel unwelcome there, less attractive, less worth it for a normal person, and unnormal. To be quite frank, I can’t tell if she should be fired from there, and/or even go back to the country she came from, maybe there she would do less of those things she...
