This was probably the most depressing experience with Indian food I've had to date. Because it's so close to being good and yet fell so far short.
The biryani was sooo salty, like, confusingly, I've never even detected that salt was used in biryani anywhere else and yet here it's overwhelmingly salty. We'll be mixing equal portions plain basmati into this to be able to eat it that's how salty it is.
The vegan "chicken" Tika Masala was my mistake to order (other than the argument that you shouldn't be using the word chicken if it's literally cubes of tofu not artificial meat) but! there was only two pieces of tofu in the entire thing. The rest was sauce and tons of capsicum and onion... I had to go fishing to find the second piece of tofu too because it was about the size of a marble. The flavour is good though so I'll cook some chicken thighs to put into it later but for reals... Where's the protein in this?
The good was the naan, happy with that. The mango lassi is also very good. And the pakora was quite good too. Just really disappointed that the two mains were such a big miss. Flavours are good but yeah, salty and M.I.A. protein. Will order again at some point soon to give them a second chance and update accordingly but yeah... Not a great...

We’ve visited this restaurant a few times now and, honestly, we wouldn’t usually find ourselves coming back to this area just for food—but this place keeps drawing us in.
Each visit has been a pleasant experience. The restaurant is surprisingly has a good space, but not too big indoor & outdoor area, good spacious parking area, always clean restaurant, and the staff are genuinely warm and attentive.
On our most recent visit, we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Pondi Coconut Curry (a special of the day), basmati rice with spinach, cheesy garlic naan, and cucumber raita. Everything was full of flavour and cooked beautifully. We were even treated to a complimentary chicken samosa—a new recipe they were testing—which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The menu has a great range without being overwhelming, dietary restrictions, vegetarian options, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. It’s clear they take pride in both their food, service & their culture.
This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve come to trust and enjoy as a family, especially on nights when we don’t feel like cooking. A solid 10/10—highly recommended, and we’ll definitely...
Read moreLast night we had a family dinner at Mirchi Healthy Indian, Stafford – we had both adults & kids in our group. The menu had plenty of variety, even an option for one of my very fussy kids (nuggets & chips!). For the rest of us, we shared a selection of Indian dishes; vindaloo, tikka masala, rogan josh, korma, butter chicken, pandi, saagwala and a complimentary bowl of onion & spinach pakora -- all of which were just delicious, and the naan was plentiful! We went with medium heat, and it was not overly spicy - we all enjoyed it.
Beyond the fantastic food, I want to acknowledge the incredible staff.
During dinner, one of my children experienced a medical emergency, I want to note that this was at no fault of the restaurant - I didn't read the ingredients. The staff were outstanding. They were attentive, empathetic and genuinely supportive. The manager even offered us the keys to his own car so we could seek medical attention. While we had our own car, this gesture was truly above and beyond. I have never experienced such care at a restaurant and I’m sincerely grateful for the way they supported us in such a stressful moment.
We’ll absolutely be back - but for now, we’re happily enjoying last...
