I have made an order online, then came to pick it up, once I opened the order one of the burgers had the bacon missing (which is an extra $4). Also the beef patties were so full of pepper, incredibly overwhelming. Unfortunately they donât have a phone line so I couldnât call them to let them know. I have gone to the store and told the girl with the red hair at the counter about the issue. The response was absolutely appalling. She told me I had to write them on Facebook or Instagram so then they could have taken actions. I told her that I was right there and demanded the refund. She eventually gave me the money back but do these people have any common sense at all???? I was right in front of you at the counter, I explained what happened but you still wanted me to let you know on social media to act on it???!! When I was there I also noticed the girls preparing the burgers had no gloves on, they were covering the counter and then rushing back to the kitchen touching everything with dirty, unwashed hands!! I told them, their response was rude and dismissive, like If it didnât matter at all. Get a grip and start providing some customer service! Have some decency and start practicing food hygiene safety protocols!!! You are disgusting.
RESPONSE TO THE BOGAN OWNER:
Your response truly proves everything I already stated in my review. The same tone I have previously experienced. You are calling me abusive? You are a disgrace to the community.
I have the text messages with the order number.
I was there with two other people that have witnessed everything and were as appalled as I was. I havenât yelled at all, I just stated facts in a normal manner.
3)Your staff were not crying, they were actually having a laugh. They are absolutely careless. Your staff are highly uneducated and incompetent, they shouldnât be working in the hospitality industry as they lack basic manners and simple hygiene standards. They didnât have gloves on and used their filthy bare hands the whole time, my colleagues have witnessed and they will never return.
Be ashamed of yourself for fabricating and rewriting the narrative to save your âreputationâ. The truth is that as you said, you pay minimum wage and leave untrained staff unsupervised. The lack of hygiene and respect towards customers is astonishing.
Good luck with your...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE! DANGER! If you eat here you may become addicted. You may quit your job and spend all day at New Day Café. You may end up with debt agencies chasing you after you deplete all your accounts buying these burgers. Your family may hold interventions but you won't hear them as you'll be too busy eating. You may end up naked after your weight causes you to bust out of your clothes and you'll be too busy stuffing your face to buy more. You may get arrested for trying to break in when they dare to shut for the night. You may end up in a psychiatrist facility rocking in a corner mumbling about coffees and burgers. You may set a new record of some sort. In short: it's good. Especially impressed with the gluten free burger bun. Not at all like swallowing a tea towel like most gluten free bread items. Beautiful. So glad I forgot my...

So here's the thing. The food is fantastic, and aside from a time or two instances, the staff is VERY lovely, and communicative! But it seems to me that they're possibly understaffed in the kitchen. Not a single time that I've been here has my order (two bagels w/ shmear and a coffee) taken less than 40-45 minutes, b/c they're so backed up with orders: dine in & takeaway. I even tried ordering ahead, so that it would hopefully be ready when I arrive (a recommendation by the staff), and no matter how I try to plan it, each time, it still needs another 10 minutes.
I love this place, and won't stop coming here; this is just my two cents, so...
