OLLIE'S COFFEE & CATCHUPS — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Disappointing. Went in Monday morning to quickly get some takeaway for breakfast on the way to work. Ordered an apple muffin, which was in the cabinet on the counter. The server took my order, then rang up another three people's coffee orders, then walked away. Waited some more. The other server looked up as more customers came and asked if I was waiting and I pointed to the muffin case right next to him and said I was just waiting for one. He nodded and then served another two people. It would have been so easy for someone to just reach in and hand me a muffin. Then a third server (maybe manager) came and asked the first server what I was waiting for, who said "a muffin" and then she nodded and walked away. For something that should have taken a few seconds, I ended up waiting a few minutes. I was wondering if they were heating the muffin or doing something but no, finally someone decided I'd been waiting in the middle of the shop long enough and handed me a muffin. This overpriced muffin was one of the worst I've had, it was like a rock, hard and dry, contained no apple, and I had to throw half of it out in the end. So disappointing as everyone raves about this place, but maybe they just aren't happy with those of us who don't drink coffee? Despite all the great reviews, don't think I'll try this...

My boyfriend and I went yesterday after taking our dog to Dogue next door. Lovely service and affordable delicious food. I had the Benny burger w salmon and it was divine! Plenty of salmon and the egg was cooked perfectly. Had a green juice which tasted amazing! One of the best green juices I’ve had. Very cheap for the quality. I stopped into Ollie's cafe for a study session feat a delicious vegan burger and a vanilla milkshake. The burger was super yum and great value, and the milkshake deserves a special mention of its own! Now, I don't pretend to be a milkshake connoisseur, but this one was served in a classic stainless steel cup and filled TO THE TOP!
