Pallet Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Keep in mind that I am an American visiting Brisbane, so what I am accustomed to affects what about to say. The menu did not have a lot of options, and I'll assume that the menu options were geared towards the local palate. I chose the bacon and eggs on toast. The meal wasnt very large (my huge american appetite) but it was well set out in an appealing display and everything tasted great. The almond milk latte was very creamy; a huge surprise based on my coffee experiences from Sydney. The atmosphere is great; cozy and fun. The work staff was very courteous and attentive, answering all my ridiculous questions that I could have answered on my own were I to have looked at signs posted or other displays (types of credit cards accepted).

The Cafe gave Morden urban aesthetics with an overall sense on friends and family. We walked in as strangers, then walked out as old friends.

Welcomed by the Cafes owner with passion for his place, for his food, for his family and his community. Giving this space a vibe of rest and pause, homely and familiar. The place itself Is beautiful and quiet, it's like being tucked away in a library nook.

What can I say... The second I walked into Pallet I was greeted with a massive smile and a warm family environment.

Karpin does an absolutely exceptional job at creating a warm and comfortable environment which feels much like home.

Karpin's passion for his customer service is apparent through the entire experience. The coffee was exceptional and the Eggs Florentine, cooked to perfection.

To see that he has his family with him in his business also serves as proof of how his values have transcended into the environment of his little cafe.

If you're ever around the Fortitude Valley area, I strongly suggest you make your way into Karpin's nook to experience for yourself the definition of TRUE...
