The staff are welcoming and friendly, our waitress was happy but slightly pushy to have us place our orders not long after we arrived, even though there was only us and another party dining in the restaurant.

The menu is quite limited, we didn’t realise this before making our reservation- so if you have fussy eaters, this won’t be the place for you. There is a wide range of protein options available including Halal, chicken, steak, fish & vegetarian though. The drinks menus is also limited, with no cocktails available. Basic wines, beer and spirits only, as well as soft drinks.

The barramundi was nice, although the batter for the cauliflower fritters was very thick and heavy. The steak special was also good, but slightly over cooked and tough. One of our party enjoyed the prawn risotto.

The restaurant was very empty and the owners / staff all congregated around a table at the front which was slightly off putting.

While our meals were ok, I’m not sure we will be back again. This restaurant honestly has great potential, the decor is great, friendly staff, but something has to be done to entice people into their location. Maybe a mixed up menu or more options- I noticed several groups stop and look at the displayed menus but only one group came in while everyone...

Cute little cafe style restaurant with lots of different options for both food and beverages.

Ordering was easy with the Chewzie QR code on the table, and counter ordering is still available for those who prefer it. The QR code also has an option to start a group order, so it won’t send it to the kitchen until everyone who’s part of that group has ordered, and everyone can pay separately.

I had the “Even Bigger Breakfast” and the golden latte, the latter of which was a really mild but tasty option for people with a caffeine/coffee sensitivity and available with all kinds of milk.

The breakfast came out piping hot. The pan potatoes were a beautiful alternative to the usual hash brown or chips. Everything was cooked really well, especially the poached eggs (you can choose poached, fried or scrambled) and the halloumi.

I have no critiques, only suggestions. Perhaps a honey fried halloumi, and maybe putting the tomato relish to the side instead of on the sourdough. But those are only personal preference.

Husband had the chicken avocado sandwich and he absolutely devoured it.

Temp was comfortable, music was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk. Been here twice so far and absolutely...

The service and staff at this place are honestly pathetic. Walked in, did not get greeted despite there being a young girl literally right there at the register making a coffee. Finally looks up at me, no greeting, simply “dine in or takeaway”, “you can sit over there” with a blank expression and snappy tone - completely off putting to begin with. There were two tables free and I didn’t know which one she meant. Went back, tried to ask her. I said excuse me 3 times and she ignored me until I had to raise my voice to get her attention.. I was right in front of her. Clarified the table, sat down and waited for 20 minutes without once being acknowledged by the other young girl walking around the tables clearing plates… we even made eye contact but there was no effort made to at least say sorry for the wait, won’t be long. This literally ruined our morning mood so we decided to leave. What an embarrassment for the business to have such horrible wait staff with no personality, or understanding of what...

Breakfast was to die for. I ordered the grilled halloumi with avocado, and also an extra side of mushrooms. Prices are fair, not cheap, but this is reflected in the quality and presentation of the meal. In addition to the aforementioned ingredients, the breakfast came with a couple of cherry tomatoes, wilted spinach, two poached eggs, a few small slices of sourdough toast and pan-fried sliced potato. If I were to make one complaint, it was that $4 for seven mushrooms seems a bit steep—but I'm kind of a mushroom addict, so perhaps my perception is skewed 😉 The coffee is Campos, a good quality bean, and the artwork was a nice touch (presentation). The only real problem I had was my outdoor table was a bit wobbly. I'm not sure how they'd fix this as the tables need to be taken inside each night, and replacing them in exactly the same position must be close to impossible. Still, something to think about.

Follow my Instagram for more food videos: @biz.sis.tima Came here twice in this past week and both times the food and experience was amazing! Definitely a place where you need to try all the food options! For breakfast we had the pumpkin soup (always my fav) + crispy cauliflower corn fritters (delicious and worth having every time, its like a pakora) + the Punjabi pumpkin smash eggplant dish (has avocado and sourdough bread, it’s listed on their QR code menu) For lunch we had wild mushroom chicken breast (very creamy and perfectly spiced, really hit the spot)+ pumpkin soup again because the bread is so soft! + chicken and mushroom carbonara (delicious as expected, we finished it way too fast) Lunch menu starts from 11am! But they have all day breakfast and the best coffee!
