Food - I ordered a small Ribs and chips, an Original Cheese burger and a Salted Caramel Thickshake. The Thickshake was the clear highlight, although $10 seems rather excessive for the size, it was one of the best thickshakes I have ever had and the crunchy balls of caramel added a nice texture.

When the food arrived to my table it looked great and fresh, but looks can be deceiving. The burger was so bland, the meat lacked any flavour, and all I could taste was the lettuce and the tomato. A dash of salt and pepper to the patty would have helped. Compared to the burgers from Grill'd, this burger was a 3/10, and a comparable Grill'd would be an 8/10.

The Ribs were cooked very well, the flavour of the basting was over-powering and half way through eating the ribs, I felt my tongue was fatigued from the flavour and it somehow became a chore to finish off the rack. The meat itself was good but the added flavouring killed the experience for me.

Service - The restaurant wasn't busy when I attended on a Saturday afternoon so the wait for the meal was about 15 mins. The table I sat at was super sticky, maybe they should wipe the tables down more, it was a bit gross having my arm stick to the table numerous times.

Atmosphere - The restaurant is located within an alley so you have the option to sit in the alley-way instead of inside the restaurant. I sat in the alley and was content with the chilled vibes.

From my experience, I wouldn't go again. I had been here before and ordered a Chicken burger and it was average at best. There are far, far better burger joints around and better Ribs places such as Frankie's which is about 600 meters up Stanley street .

I am a little perplexed that this place is getting 5 Star ratings for their burgers. I have no idea if these other people have never had a burger before or are bots. It just seems odd people are rating the...

We dined at 6:15pm on Friday, when the Broncos were okaying at the Gabba, so there were people everywhere.

We arrived at 6:15 and waited for a table. There were two groups in front of us. We waited about 5 minutes for a table.

The menu was diverse, catering for a range of different tastes. Our vegetarian was very impressed by the options. The drinks menu offered enough options, but wasn’t huge.

There was also a dessert menu, but we didn’t have time for that.

We ordered a vege burger and chips, the loaded chicken fries and the Wagyu bacon and truffle burger. I was very pleased to have a mini rack of ribs and chips as a side option for the burger.

We used the option of the app to order and it was logical and well laid out.

We waited about 5 minutes for the drinks, then another 10 for the food. It was hot and fresh.

I had the Wagyu burger and was very impressed. It was sizeable without being cumbersome and amazingly delicious. The crunchy ends of the bacon were outstanding and the truffle sauce was tasty, without being overpowering. The ribs were terrific, again with crunchy ends and my beautiful wife was hooked, raiding my plate.

The service was friendly and efficient. These folks could have been flustered by the crowd, but they remained clam and got people through without pressure.

The atmosphere in the laneway was very pleasant - an industrial feeling but not unwelcoming.

The cost was about what I expected to pay.

All in all, a top experience....

I visited Ribs & Burgers with my friends on a Saturday midday (today) and had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite ordering at the same time as my friends, my meal had not arrived after 20 minutes. When I kindly asked the server about the delay, he lashed out at me, complaining about being understaffed and said the food would arrive soon.

Another 10 minutes passed, and I inquired again, still kindly, about my order. The server once again complained about the staffing issues. I told him that while I understood, I simply needed to know how long it would take. Instead of providing a straightforward answer, he offered a refund, which I declined because I just wanted my meal.

At this point, he raised his voice, reiterating their staffing problems. I noticed my order on a table behind him and pointed it out. He confirmed it was mine but insisted on giving me a refund and stated he didn't want to serve me due to my complaints (though I had only asked about my order twice).

As a pregnant woman, I was particularly upset by this interaction. I just wanted to enjoy the meal I had paid for. I took my meal and left, but the server never apologised and left me feeling extremely upset ruining my lunch and experience here.

The staff member in question clearly needs significant training and professional development. Taking out frustrations on customers is unacceptable. This experience was...

You can't came here without ordering ribs or burgers. Better yet, get both! What we ordered: * baby back feast, $74.90 - pork baby back ribs ($49.90), served with large chips ($8.90) and the choice of two burgers: - old school cheese ($13.90) - beef, American cheese, red onion, pickles, mayo, BBQ sauce and mustard - lemon & herb flame grilled chicken ($13.90) - lemon & herb grilled chicken, lettuce, red onion, tomato and mayo * apple cabbage salad, $8.90 (large) - red & white cabbage, kale, pepitas, apple, cucumber, herbs and honey mustard dressing * onion rings, $7.90 - seasoned beer battered onion rings, served with aioli Total $91.70 for 2A+2C. I didn't see signage but asked and confirmed there is a card surcharge. The feast is a good value option compared to getting the items separately, and this was plenty of food for our party. I found the food overall to be pretty tasty and enjoyable. Would've liked the ribs to be more tender & fall off the bone texture, plus the dishes to be generally served a bit hotter, but none of these were major issues. There's free off street parking available as well as metered on street lots. They also have a $15 weekday lunch specials menu including a number of wraps and burger options. Although their locations means I'm unlikely to take up this offer, I'll keep it in mind in case I happen to be in the area.
