Came here with Dexter the Boston Terrier to give him a run with other dogs. Not a great dog park. Entrance gates are sounded by deep muddy pools. Impossible to get in without your dog and your shoes getting wet and covered in mud! The small dog area is very small not really big enough for ball throwing. 10 dogs makes it very crowded. Avoid busy times. There is a basket for community dog toys. Big dog are was a good size. When I went there it was predominantly poodles and Maltese which all stood around sniffing, Dexter likes to run and wrestle. Also beware of strange owner behaviour, there was a woman having a picnic in the middle of the small dog area with her possessions spread out on a blanket, she got angry with Dexter and scolded me for having a non poodle with too...
Read moreGreat court, huge soccer and cricket fields, two unleashed dog areas, gym equipment and a kids playground. Oh and a little skate bowl or whatever you kids call it these days. Not bad at all - but don't you all be rushing to the basketball court; Jalapenos likes to keep that one to himself and the select locals with decent enough skill to hang. That said, were all honestly pretty inviting....except for one dude, whom I'm sure you'll identify within moments. Oerconfident I'm his game and his size. Short as, ball hog with poor court vision and if I were to generously estimate his typical shot success, I'd put him at a rating of 40% . Despite all this, you'll see him - EVERYTIME - wearing a skintight shirt, either...

There is something for everyone with 2 cricket pitches, a bbq area, kids park, skate ramp, full basketball court, soccer pitch & a super friendly dog park plus a community garden. There is plenty of room to run, picnic & play under the amazing trees smack bang in the middle of Brissy. It’s also got some great cafes, pubs & restaurants surround too. A great local green space facility...
