We have been going to StarFish for years and always been impressed with the service and food. However tonight my husband phoned to order his food and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. He arrived after 5 minutes and was handed the food. Jumped in his car and took a chip to eat only to discover it was cold. He spat it out and took it back inside. The food was taken from him and handed back to him 1 minute later having been reheated in the microwave. He demanded his money back or a new order to be made up both of which he was refused. We will not be going back ever again and we will be taking this further. So...

This is our go to for fish and chips and the food never disappoints. Even though this is considered “greasy” food, the food here isn’t soaked in grease - you can get a big feed and you won’t end up feeling like rubbish after. The fish is always high quality, the calamari rings nice and soft, and the burgers are delicious. My only complaint is that I wish the “large” salads were bigger, as they are pretty small for the price - they are really tasty though. Service here is always fast and the food...
