Great experience came here to check out the 1 person bbq. My friend got the beef Bento she loved it it was a pretty big serving size for price so she thought it was good value for money. I got the 1 person wagyu bbq and that was so good so simple and really great price. Service was pretty slow though but it seemed like there was only 1 person out on the floor. The food seemed to come out pretty slow. The flame doesn't last very long on the bbq so if you don't cook all the meat quickly you'll have to ask for a relight which is fine. I also ordered a wagyu beef aburi to check it out. It was a pretty thick cut of beef, and definitely wasn't blow torched like other places, only comes with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce, I think if it had abit of shredded onion ontop and some Mayo it would taste better but it was still good... if it was slightly thinner cut, blow torched instead of pan seared topped with teriyaki sauce and Mayo and thinly sliced onion it would be on par with all the other sushi train places that serve wagyu aburi. All in all would definitely go back for the wagyu bbq set

Extremely disappointed to say the least. Not only did we try to call multiple times with no answer to book buffet when we got here they said we had to call for buffet ….. Yes … okay… we tried that but sure.. We were seated promptly enough and served the normal menu but all portions are pretty small to accommodate the buffet items I guess so for a normal paying customer it’s not worth the price. Service and food was fast enough but was extremely lack luster, I got a teriyaki beef bowl and there was so much saturated sauce the rice was sitting in a soup, my miso was cold, Sashimi plate was very small and when eating a piece of curled salmon with roe ontop some how there was a prawns tail in it and I was left disgusted by this. 3 plates and 2 dishes amounted to 80$ Of tiny portions and cold/old dishes I won’t be back. (Picture of the very old and random prawn tail that was mixed in with my salmon and roe the item tasted disgusting)

Instagram advertisement led me to visit this sushi shop and I can tell the conclusions first, it was amazing! Since I am a sushi killer, I always want to eat a lot, but as we know, seafood in Australia is super expensive. “All you can it” was so attractive to me, so I promptly BOOKED for my table.( TIP, you must book all you can eat before you visit here in advance) I went to there around lunch time. Even though weather was not good, there was a lot of customers already, despite of its not nice location. When I talked to waitress that I already had booked, she offered me a table BUT if you select as All you can eat, there are NO PHOTOS AT ALL in your tablet. I still think this is really odd. I had to check my next table’s tablet to check photos. In the tablet menu, there are only 2 categories for all you can eat people. If you select general one, you will use 3categories. Which means even though they say “all you can eat” but actually there is some limitation. Sashimi is only available for ONE TIME per person. No gunkan sushi for us. But there was some nigiri and aburies, so I was satisfied with this. The most important thing!! Sashimi and sushi were extremely fresh!! No weird smell at all!! Fish were like smooth candies!! It was really melted!! Side menus like fries were super crunch and delicious! The only thing I felt just OKAY was Udong. Its broth was soy sauce base( I guess it was from Katsuobush fish) so I felt salty, sweet and bitter flavor at the same time. I am quite sensitive for the taste, so TO ME, it was okay. But I think it will be good for other people. Btw, even though I didn’t spend accurate 90min, but they suddenly cut my staying time, which means tablet suddenly changes into photos. Like I mentioned they do NOT offer photos while you have all you can eat menu. You need to order more before they cut your time. Today’s new challenge for first visiting restaurant was successful. I was happy about most of things. It was worthy to visit far from my area (Logan). I strongly recommend here. FYI, if you pay with cash, they will discount you 5%(forgot about accurate card surcharges).

This was my favourite sushi train in Brisbane, I’ve previously taken many of my friends here to eat as all of the food, but especially the sushi and sashimi, has always been good quality, really fresh and the cut nicely etc. Went for dinner tonight for the ‘All You Can Eat’ and was a bit disappointed. I found that the sushi and nigiri fish was cut quite thinly and there was a lot of rice. I ate some of the rice that came with the dishes, but did not eat all of it as a lot of rice gives me an upset stomach. The lady serving was lovely and explained that I would be charged a $15 wastage fee for wasting the rice, which I said I understood and was okay to pay this. When we went to pay and got a receipt, I realised we were charged $15 per person for the rice I had not eaten and I felt bad as my friend did not waste any food. Overall, the service staff are lovely. But I definitely feel that the quality of the food has gone down. I understand it was an ‘All You Can Eat’ for $42.50 and that the restaurant is trying to make money and not lose it, but it has definitely changed since I...

Here's a hot business tip: dont accuse your customers of stealing. (they charged us for two extra plates we didn't take off the sushi train, we used the order ipad the whole time and no sushi train covers on our table so he couldn't have made a mistake). Noticed the next day the extra fee on the receipt and went down there to ask about the charge, owner claims 'Everyone says they don't take plates but they do so...' Shocking. Changed review to one star, owner is arrogant and disrespectful, will rip you off. Don't be fooled by the good reviews.

Sushi rolls were okay, but the bowl meals were pretty awful unfortunately. Yakisoba was way too sickly sweet and did not taste like yakisoba at all, and the noodles in the spicy ramen was like those 2 minute packs of noodles. If you are going to put ramen on the menu you should absolutely be using proper ramen noodles.

I have lived in Japan for many years and was expecting somewhat authentic Japanese food here but was...
